## Description

Choosing a training collar often comes down to how much flexibility you need during practice. The SLOPEHILL D17T has two channels for training two dogs and a remote range of up to 4,200 feet, giving you a way to work on cues in the backyard, at the park, or on a walk.

Its receiver combines beep, vibration, safe shock, flash light, and no-shock modes, so you can select an approach that suits the training moment. The adjustable green nylon strap is designed for dogs from 8 to 140 pounds.

## Key features

The dual-channel remote supports training two dogs at the same time. That can be useful when practicing recalls or basic commands with both dogs in the same outdoor space, rather than managing separate training sessions. Its stated range of up to 4,200 feet also gives you room to practice when a dog is moving farther away.

Choose from beep, vibration, safe shock, flash light, and no-shock modes. The no-shock mode lets you use beep and vibration without shock, and the metal prongs can be removed for a more comfortable fit. The receiver also has solid white and flashing light modes to help you spot your dog during evening walks or camping.

The receiver is IP68 waterproof for outdoor activities, the remote is not waterproof. The adjustable strap measures 8 to 26 inches and is listed for dogs weighing 8 to 140 pounds. A remote control, receiver, and leash are listed as included components.

## How to take care of it

For everyday wear, follow the product’s care instruction not to leave the collar on your dog for more than 8 hours per day. Check the strap’s fit and placement during use, and keep the remote dry. The receiver’s waterproof rating applies to the receiver, not the remote.

## Tips for day-to-day use

For a session at the park, the two-channel setup lets you select the dog you want to address, while the light on the receiver can make it easier to locate a dog after dark. The different modes give you options for getting attention or practicing a cue, no-shock mode is available when you want to rely on beep and vibration.

Customer feedback highlights the clear beep, bright light, adjustability, and usefulness for training. Opinions are more mixed on the remote and long-term durability, so these comments are best treated as individual experiences rather than a guarantee.

## Practical questions

**Can this collar be used with two dogs?** Yes. The remote has two channels and is described as supporting simultaneous training for two dogs.

**Is the remote waterproof?** No. The receiver is rated IP68, but the remote is not waterproof, so keep it dry during outdoor use.

**What dog sizes does the strap fit?** The adjustable strap is listed as 8 to 26 inches, with a recommended dog weight range of 8 to 140 pounds.

## Is it worth it?

The D17T brings several training and visibility options together in one remote-controlled setup, with dual channels for households working with two dogs. It’s a great fit if you want adjustable modes for practice in open spaces and a receiver light for evening outings, while keeping the remote dry and limiting collar wear to the stated daily duration.
