SLOGENTO Windshield Sun Shade for RAM 2500 3500
Product description
If your priority is a quick way to limit sun exposure while your truck is parked, a windshield shade is more direct than relying on a covered parking spot you may not have. The SLOGENTO is made for RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks, with reflective polyester intended to block UV rays and reduce heat entering through the windshield. It folds for storage, so it can be put away when you’re ready to drive. The main question to settle before buying is whether the stated fit years match your truck.
What matters most
The shade uses 240T reflective polyester with a UV-blocking coating. Its job is to cover the windshield and help shield the dashboard, steering wheel, and seats from sunlight that can contribute to fading, cracking, or warping. It’s also intended to help keep the cabin from becoming as hot while the truck is parked. Those are useful everyday goals, but the product details don’t quantify how much it lowers interior temperature or blocks UV, so treat those benefits as protective rather than as a guaranteed cabin temperature.
It makes sense if you regularly park in direct sun and want a removable barrier between the windshield and the cabin. For example, you could open it after parking for the day, then fold it away before your next drive instead of leaving a permanent accessory in place. Keep in mind that the listed fit years don’t agree: the product name says 2010–2026, while the description says 2012–2026. Confirm the fit for your specific model year before choosing it.
Size & fit
This is presented as a custom-fit windshield shade for RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks, rather than a universal screen that may leave gaps around the glass. However, no dimensions are provided, and the year range differs between the product name and description. That makes exact vehicle fit the key detail to resolve. If you’re comparing it with a generic shade, the vehicle-specific design is the main reason to choose this one, if your truck falls outside the confirmed range, a clearly specified alternative may be a safer fit.
Tips for day-to-day use
The shade is described as opening and folding in seconds, with a storage pouch included. Keep the pouch somewhere easy to reach in the cab so the shade can be put away after parking rather than left loose on a seat or dashboard. Its foldable format is practical for routine stops, though the listing doesn’t give folded dimensions, so there’s no stated way to judge how much storage space it will take up. No installation hardware or extra setup is mentioned, the product is intended to be opened for use and folded for storage.
Questions before you buy
Does it fit every RAM 2500 and 3500 model year listed? The product name gives 2010–2026, but the description specifies 2012–2026. The conflicting start year means you should confirm your truck’s year before ordering.
What is the shade made of? It’s described as 240T reflective polyester with a UV-blocking coating.
Does it come with a storage pouch? Yes. The description says a pouch is included for storage when the shade is folded.
Buying verdict
This SLOGENTO shade is aimed at RAM 2500 and 3500 owners who want a fold-away windshield cover to help limit sun and heat exposure without leaving a fixed accessory in the truck. Its material, UV-blocking coating, and included pouch make the intended use clear, but there’s no measured cooling result or listed size to assess. Not the best choice if you need confirmed fit for a year that falls in the gap between the two ranges—or if you want quantified performance before buying.
