## Description

The White/Blue over-ear format keeps the SLYR Pro Wireless focused on gaming sessions where a headset needs to serve more than one device. It offers Bluetooth, an included low-latency wireless transmitter, and a 3.5mm aux connection, so buyers can choose between wireless play and a wired connection rather than relying on one setup.

The removable boom mic, on-headset volume control, and Skull-HQ app features add practical options for voice chat and audio adjustment. Battery-life information is inconsistent: the product title says 24 hours, while the feature details say up to 30, so the exact runtime is unclear.

## Who it’s for

It’s a great fit if you want one over-ear gaming headset for PlayStation, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile gaming, with multiple connection methods available. The included wireless transmitter is specifically described for connecting to PlayStation, the product also lists wireless compatibility with PC and Switch. Bluetooth and the 3.5mm cable provide alternatives when the transmitter is not the preferred connection.

This setup suits someone who switches between gaming platforms or wants a removable boom mic for team chat. If you mainly need a basic wired headset, the 3.5mm connection is available without making the wireless features central to the purchase. You may want to skip it if dependable wireless connectivity is essential: buyer feedback is mixed, and some report repeated disconnecting and reconnecting.

## What you’ll notice day to day

The main convenience is having more than one way to connect. The transmitter is intended to reduce audio delay for wireless gaming, while Bluetooth and the included aux cable cover other connection preferences. A practical setup might use the transmitter with a PlayStation, then switch to Bluetooth for mobile gaming. The listing does not specify that every connection method works identically with every device, so choose based on the platform you plan to use most.

The removable boom mic is designed for voice chat, and the product describes its Clear Voice Smart Mic as using AI to isolate the speaker’s voice and reduce background noise. Skull-HQ software for desktop or mobile provides ChatMix, EQ, and sidetone adjustments. These settings offer more control than a headset with only basic volume adjustment, though the specific sound you prefer will depend on your own settings and use.

Buyers praise the sound quality, but wireless experiences are not uniformly positive. Some report connection dropouts, so those comments are worth weighing if you plan to play wirelessly every day. The wired option gives you another way to connect, but it does not resolve a wireless setup that is central to your needs.

## Practical questions

Can it connect to PlayStation wirelessly? The included low-latency transmitter is specified for PlayStation. Bluetooth and a 3.5mm aux connection are also listed as connection options.

Can the microphone be removed? Yes. The boom microphone is described as removable, which lets you take it off when you do not need it for voice chat.

What can be adjusted in the app? Skull-HQ provides access to ChatMix, EQ, and sidetone settings through desktop or mobile software.

## Is it worth it?

The SLYR Pro Wireless is worth considering if you value cross-platform connection choices, a removable chat mic, and app-based audio controls in one headset. It offers a more flexible approach than a wired-only model, while the aux cable still gives you a wired alternative. The tradeoffs are the inconsistent battery-life claims and mixed buyer feedback about wireless connections. If you are comfortable with those uncertainties and expect to use its multiple connection options, it has a clear use case, if uninterrupted wireless performance is your deciding requirement, the reports of dropouts deserve extra weight.
