Skullcandy Crusher 720 S6CEW-U043 Wireless Headphones with THX Spatial Audio

Key points

The over-ear Crusher 720 pairs Skullcandy’s adjustable Crusher bass with THX Spatial Audio for a listening experience shaped around both low-end impact and a sense of space. The prominent bass wheel makes it easy to adjust bass intensity directly on the headphones.

Bluetooth 5.3 supports wireless listening, while the 3.5 mm jack offers a wired connection. The package includes a 3.5 mm AUX cable, USB-C to USB-C charging cable, and drawstring travel bag.

Battery life is rated at up to 65 hours, with Rapid Charge providing up to four hours of playback after a 10-minute charge. Wear Detect automatically pauses audio when you remove the headphones and resumes it when you put them back on, the feature can be turned off in the Skullcandy app.

Size & fit

The over-ear design uses oval earcups with deeper, softer cushions and an updated headband for a comfortable fit during longer listening sessions. At 362.8 g, the headphones are designed for entertainment, travel, and fitness use. Their faux leather and plastic construction gives the earcups and headband a familiar, cushioned headphone feel.

The fit works alongside the sound controls: use the Crusher wheel to set the bass intensity for music, movies, or games, then let THX Spatial Audio add a more expansive presentation. The Skullcandy app also lets you create a Personal Sound profile and customize your listening experience.

Everyday use

For a commute or a flight, Bluetooth listening and the long stated battery life make it practical to keep audio close at hand. At home, THX Spatial Audio is intended to add depth to movies and games, while the adjustable bass lets you tailor the low end instead of relying on a fixed sound profile. The included AUX cable provides a wired listening option when that better suits your setup.

Wear Detect is useful when you take the headphones off briefly: audio pauses and resumes as you put them back on. If you prefer to control playback yourself, you can disable the feature in the Skullcandy app. The headphones are not water resistant, so keep them dry during workouts and travel.

Buyers often highlight the sound and bass, including the ability to adjust the bass intensity. Some also appreciate the automatic pause feature, while feedback on its behavior is mixed. That feature is adjustable in the app, giving you the option to switch it off.
