## Description

For kids who enjoy trains and hands-on building, the SKTMYY SK018 brings the two activities together in one magnetic tile set. It has 60 pieces, including three mini magnetic cars and train-station details. Want a building toy that can lead into imaginative play? Kids can create a railway scene, then use it as a setting for travel or delivery stories.

## Quick sizing guide

The set uses standard magnetic tiles measuring 2.95 inches, along with mini magnetic cars. Its overall dimensions are 6.69 x 1.97 x 9.84 inches, and the set weighs 2.5 pounds. Those details can help you plan where to store it or how it might fit alongside magnetic tiles already used at home or in a classroom. The cars are designed for standard-sized magnetic tracks, while the smaller car pieces add a different scale to the build.

## Where it shines

This is more than a train to push along a fixed track. Children can arrange the magnetic pieces into a station and railway setting, using printed details such as clocks and signs to give their construction a sense of place. The three independent cars also support shared play: siblings or classmates can build together, then create their own routes or roles within the same railway scene.

The train theme makes it easy to move from construction into storytelling. A child might build a station, decide where the train is headed, and use the cars for a tour or delivery mission. The expandable cars can also carry small dolls or mini figures, adding another role-play element to the setup. For a classroom or playroom, the combination of building and collaborative pretend play offers more ways to use the pieces than a train toy with a fixed layout.

Some buyers highlight the set’s engaging play and perceived quality. Feedback is mixed on size and magnetic hold: some describe the pieces as small or the connections as weak, and some mention tiles sticking to the container. These comments offer a useful perspective when deciding whether the set’s compact, build-and-play format suits the child and the way they like to construct.
