## Description

For home projects that call for bundling cords, organizing cables, or securing garden materials, these black SKALON zip ties offer an 8-inch length and a self-locking design.

The 1,000-count pack is suited to jobs that use ties throughout a workspace or around the home, so you can keep a supply on hand for multiple tasks.

Choose this style for general-purpose cable organization and fastening. If your project calls for a smaller quantity, a compact pack may be more practical, for recurring household or garden jobs, this bulk pack provides more ties in one purchase.

## Key features

Each tie is made of nylon 66 and has a stated tensile strength of 40 pounds. The self-locking construction fastens with an integrated closure, making it useful for gathering computer cords, electronics cables, and other bundled items. Its black color blends into many cable groups and work areas.

The ties are described as weather- and UV-resistant, with an operating temperature range of -40°F to 185°F. That range and the outdoor-use design support tasks such as organizing materials in a garage or shed, securing garden fencing, and arranging outdoor lighting. Keep the application within the stated temperature and tensile-strength limits.

Buyers commonly describe the ties as handy for household projects and cable management, and some appreciate their size and versatility. Feedback is mixed on durability and locking performance: some customers find them strong and functional, while others report breakage or difficulty getting a secure latch. These are useful perspectives to weigh alongside the specified size and strength when choosing ties for a particular job.

## Fit and sizing

Each tie measures 8 inches long and 0.14 inches wide, with a maximum diameter of 2 inches. These dimensions help when planning how many cords or materials to gather in a bundle. For example, they can organize a group of PC or laptop cables behind a desk, while the same length may suit general fastening around a garden or garage. The package contains 1,000 ties, making it a practical format for projects that require repeated use across several areas.

## How to use it

Gather the cables or materials into the arrangement you want, then thread the tie through its self-locking head and pull it snug. Use it to keep loose electronics cords together, group wires in a workspace, or fasten suitable garden materials. Select an application that stays within the tie’s stated 40-pound tensile strength and operating temperature range. For long-term storage, keep the ties sealed, and store them out of children’s reach.

## Final verdict

The SKALON 8-inch ties bring together a useful everyday size, black nylon 66 construction, self-locking fastening, and a 1,000-piece supply. They are a practical fit for shoppers organizing household cables or handling repeated indoor and outdoor fastening jobs, with dimensions and strength that help guide selection for each bundle.
