Singwil Selfie Light for Phones, 5000mAh

A dim room can make phone video look flat, especially when you’re filming yourself with the front camera and can’t easily position a separate light. The Singwil selfie light clips onto a device and offers adjustable brightness plus three lighting modes, so you can add fill light without setting up a larger kit. Its rotating clip is intended to work with front- or rear-camera shooting. It also has a 1/4-inch thread for camera mounting.

Where it shines

This light is aimed at quick, close-up recording in places where the room lighting isn’t doing you any favors: a video call at a desk, a short social clip, or a makeup check before heading out. For example, clip it to your phone before recording a front-camera update near a window after sunset, then switch between cool, warm, and mixed light to suit the scene. Brightness is adjustable, and the listed color-temperature range is 2500K to 9000K, giving you more control than a basic fixed-output clip light.

The 120 LEDs and the clip’s 120-degree front-to-back rotation are useful details for someone who changes between selfie and rear-camera framing. If you prioritize a compact light you can reposition quickly, this setup is more convenient than building a larger lighting arrangement. If you prefer broader, more even illumination across a room or a full-body scene, a small phone-mounted light is a more limited tool.

Key points

The built-in battery is rated at 5000mAh and charges through USB-C. The maker lists a two-hour charge time, with up to two hours of use at maximum brightness or up to 15 hours at minimum brightness, those runtimes are according to the maker, and actual use may depend on the brightness setting. That range makes it easier to choose between stronger fill light for a short recording and lower output for longer sessions.

The listing describes compatibility with smartphones, tablets, and laptops, as well as a 1/4-inch thread for cameras. The clip is the main attachment option, with anti-slip and anti-scratch elements described in the product information. One practical unknown: no clip dimensions are provided, so the listing doesn’t establish how it will fit a particular device or a phone with a case attached. Worth considering if you want one rechargeable light for calls, selfies, or casual video. It may not suit you if you need documented fit dimensions or a lighting setup for larger scenes.

Best use cases

This is most relevant for close-range content and video calls where the light can sit directly on the device. The three modes let you make a quick adjustment for a warmer indoor look or a cooler, brighter feel, while the rotating clip helps when switching camera direction. Its portable format also makes sense for travel or recording in different rooms, where carrying a separate stand and light would be less convenient.

For a fixed desk setup, a dedicated larger light may be a better fit if you need to illuminate more than your face. The Singwil’s appeal is simpler: a rechargeable clip-on fill light that can move with your phone or laptop, rather than a more involved lighting arrangement.

Final verdict

The Singwil is worth a look if your main problem is uneven or dim light during close-up phone videos, selfies, or calls, and you value adjustable output in a portable format. The stated battery life gives you a useful choice between maximum brightness for shorter clips and minimum brightness for longer use. The main tradeoff is the clip-based design: without dimensions, you can’t confirm fit for your exact device and case from the listing alone. Choose it for flexible, device-mounted fill light, look at a larger setup if you need to light a wider area.
