## Description

For routine maintenance of a home HVAC system, the Simply MF16251-12 12-pack gives you replacement filters sized for a 16x25x1 slot. Its pleated media is designed to capture common airborne particles such as dust, pollen, pet dander, and lint.

The filter has a MERV 8 rating and is comparable to MPR 600. That makes it a practical choice for everyday filtration when you want to replace a standard furnace or air conditioner filter on a regular schedule.

Each filter’s actual dimensions are 15.75 x 24.75 x 0.75 inches. A 12-pack keeps replacements on hand, so it’s easier to follow a consistent maintenance routine instead of shopping for a single filter each time.

## Tech summary

The electrostatically charged synthetic pleated media helps capture airborne dust and other common household particles. The filter is intended for use with furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps, and it slides into a compatible filter slot. Its 24-point beverage board frame and hot-rolled steel wire mesh support the pleated filter construction.

## Everyday compatibility

Use this filter in a residential system with a filter slot designed for the 16x25x1 size. Before installing a replacement, compare the dimensions printed on the old filter or listed for your system with this filter’s actual dimensions. Slide it into the slot and orient it according to the airflow arrows. It can also be used in compatible return grilles.

The 12-count pack suits homes that replace filters regularly and prefer to keep the next one available. Rather than buying filters one at a time, you can store replacements for upcoming changes. The stated service life is up to three months, the right replacement schedule depends on your system and household conditions.

## Who it’s for

This Simply filter is suited to households looking for MERV 8 filtration for everyday dust, pollen, lint, and pet dander. It is also a straightforward option for maintaining a furnace, heat pump, or air conditioner that takes the listed size. What makes a larger pack useful? It keeps routine replacements together, making scheduled upkeep simpler.

Customer feedback commonly praises its ability to catch dust and debris, while reports about fit and sturdiness are mixed. Matching the actual dimensions to your filter slot helps you select the right size for your setup.
