## Description

If you want workout earbuds that leave your ears open to the sounds around you, the SHOKZ OpenFit Air combines an open-ear design with adaptable earhooks made to stay in place during movement. DirectPitch audio aims sound toward your ears without sealing the ear canal, making these earbuds a practical fit for workouts, walks, commutes, and everyday listening.

The lightweight earhooks and true wireless design keep your listening setup simple. Use both earbuds or either one independently for music and calls.

## Getting the most from it
Wear the OpenFit Air for a workout, then keep them on for a call or commute. The open-ear design lets surrounding sound remain part of your listening experience, while the secure earhooks are designed to hold the earbuds in place during exercise. Need to switch between your phone and computer? Multipoint pairing connects the earbuds to two devices, and touch controls let you manage playback and calls.

The earbuds provide up to 6 hours of listening on a charge, with up to 28 hours available using the charging case. A 10-minute quick charge adds up to 2 hours of listening, useful when you need a little more time before heading out. Four microphones support calls, and IP54 water resistance suits active use. For a personalized setup, the SHOKZ app offers EQ modes, customizable button functions, and battery information, the earbuds also work without the app.

## Why it makes sense
Many traditional earbuds sit inside the ear canal. The OpenFit Air takes a different approach: its open-ear fit keeps your ears unobstructed while DirectPitch technology positions sound toward them. That combination can make sense when you want audio for a run or walk without shutting out the environment.

Customer feedback often highlights sound quality and a secure fit over each ear. Opinions are mixed on battery life and connectivity, and some buyers raise concerns about durability. The open-ear format also means external sounds remain audible, a useful distinction when choosing between environmental awareness and noise isolation.

## Key features
The OpenFit Air uses Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity and supports multipoint pairing with two devices. Its angular earbuds attach with adaptable earhooks, and the housing combines nickel-titanium alloy, plastic, and silicone. Touch controls provide convenient access while you are moving, and the included microphone supports hands-free calls.

For charging and storage, the package includes a charging case, a protective case, a USB-C charging cable, and a user manual. The earbuds are compatible with Android, iPhone, Mac, PC, and Watch devices. At home, at work, or on the move, the open-ear design offers an alternative to in-ear listening while keeping music and calls close at hand.

## Is it worth it?
The SHOKZ OpenFit Air is worth considering if you want wireless earbuds for fitness and daily routines that do not close off your ears. Its secure earhooks, multipoint pairing, call microphones, and charging case support a flexible move between exercise, commuting, and work. Choose it for open-ear listening and a fit designed to stay put through active use.
