## Description

For patio and porch owners who want a defined outdoor surface without adding a fabric rug to the laundry routine, the Shilucheng 8x10 ft outdoor rug focuses on easy cleanup and portable use. Its black-and-white pattern is reversible, so either side can face up, and the polypropylene construction is described as waterproof and stain-resistant.

It also folds for outings, with a carrying bag included.

## Technical details

The rug is made from recyclable polypropylene, with a UV coating and reinforced thermoplastic edges. The listed design is intended to handle outdoor wear, foot traffic, and exposure to the elements. It is advertised as quick-drying and can be rinsed with water or wiped with a damp cloth. Those features make it more about covering a useful patch of patio or campsite than adding cushioning, the listing does not give a thickness or weight, so you can’t judge its feel underfoot or packing burden without that measurement.

The 8x10 ft size gives you a substantial area to place beneath patio seating, spread across a porch, or use as a ground covering for a picnic. Its black-and-white look may suit a simple outdoor setup, though it is a specific pattern rather than a neutral, texture-only mat. Unlike a plush outdoor rug, this plastic-straw style puts cleanability and portability ahead of a soft surface for bare feet.

## Getting the most from it

This is a single outdoor rug for settings such as a patio, deck, porch, backyard, beach outing, or camping trip. The product description also names RV use, but does not provide vehicle-specific fit details. Measure the spot you plan to cover and compare it with the stated 8x10 ft size, especially if the rug will sit between furniture or in a confined area. It can work as a boundary for a seating area, but the listing does not say that it has a nonslip backing, so don’t assume it will stay fixed on every surface.

## Usage tips

For a patio refresh, lay it under a table and chairs to visually group the seating area, if crumbs or dirt collect after a meal, rinse the surface or wipe it with a damp cloth, then let it air-dry before folding it away. On a trip, its foldable construction and included carrying bag are useful for moving it between the vehicle and a picnic spot. Keep in mind that the product details don’t specify how small it folds, so storage space is still worth considering.

## Questions before you buy

**Can you use either side?** Yes. The rug is described as reversible, so you can use either face.

**How is it cleaned?** The listed care options are rinsing with water or wiping with a damp cloth, followed by air-drying.

**Does it come with a carrying bag?** The description says a carrying bag is included, and the rug is described as lightweight and foldable for portability.

## Should you buy it?

It makes sense if you want a large, reversible outdoor covering that can be rinsed clean and moved between home and outings. The polypropylene construction and stated quick-dry care suit someone who values practicality more than a cushioned, soft-fiber feel. Not the best choice if you need a confirmed nonslip surface, detailed RV fit guidance, or a measured packed size before planning storage. Check the available space first, then decide whether an 8x10 ft plastic-straw rug fits the way you use your patio or travel setup.
