## Description

This Shark home air purifier with NeverChange HEPA filter offers multiroom coverage and long-term filtration for larger living spaces, helping reduce smoke, dust, and fine particles while running quietly in the background. It is designed to treat up to 1,400 sq. ft. in one hour according to AHAM AC-1, so it can keep open-plan living areas, bedrooms, and basements refreshed with less hands-on maintenance.

## Key Points

The unit captures very small particles, with the HEPA-level filtration rated to remove up to 99.98% of particles in the 0.1–0.2 micron range based on the manufacturer test EST-RP-CC007.3. The NeverChange system includes a washable debris filter that protects the HEPA layers so you do not need to replace the HEPA element for up to five years under the cited test conditions. Clean Sense IQ continuously monitors PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 and adjusts fan speed automatically, and an LED display shows air quality in real time. The purifier also incorporates an odor-neutralizing technology that the manufacturer states achieves twice the odor reduction versus filtration alone in comparative tests.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: Shark HP302 NeverChange Air Purifier**
- Coverage: 1,400 sq. ft. (one air change per hour, AHAM AC-1)
- Particle capture: 99.98% for 0.1–0.2 micron particles (manufacturer test EST-RP-CC007.3)
- Filter life: NeverChange HEPA up to 5 years (based on GB/T18801-2015 P.CCM test conditions)
- Sensors: PM1, PM2.5, PM10 monitoring with Clean Sense IQ

## Usage Recommendations

Place the purifier in a central spot in the largest area you want to treat so the airflow reaches adjoining rooms more effectively. For homes with persistent cooking odors or smoke, run the unit at higher fan speeds during events that produce pollutants, and let Clean Sense IQ return the purifier to a lower setting once the sensors detect improvement. The debris shield is designed to be removed and cleaned by vacuuming or rinsing, which helps maintain airflow and prolongs the NeverChange HEPA life. Consider that real-world filter longevity can vary depending on pollutant load and operating hours, according to the manufacturer.
