## Description

For quick pickups on carpets and bare floors, the Shark Freestyle Max combines cordless convenience with a two-speed brushroll. Its lightweight design weighs under 7 lb, making it easier to steer around corners and into tighter spaces.

LED headlights illuminate dirt, debris, and pet hair in the cleaning path, helping you spot what needs attention as you move through a room.

A removable 0.74-quart dust cup and a space-saving charging dock round out a grab-and-go upright built for everyday home cleaning.

## Quick overview
The Freestyle Max is an indoor, cordless upright vacuum for carpet and hard-floor cleaning. Choose between two brushroll speeds to suit the surface, then move from room to room without working around a power cord. Its compact, portable format is designed for quick pickups as well as everyday messes.

At under 7 lb, it is easy to maneuver around furniture and into corners. The LED headlights help reveal debris that can be harder to see, including pet hair, while the upright form keeps the cleaning setup straightforward. A useful alternative to a corded upright when you want to move freely between floor areas, it brings carpet and bare-floor cleaning together in one cordless machine.

## Cleaning & care
The removable dust cup holds 0.74 quarts and is designed for easy emptying, so collected debris can be disposed of without handling it directly. Its larger capacity compared with the Shark BU3521 supports longer cleaning sessions before emptying. The charging dock provides a designated, space-saving place to recharge and store the vacuum between uses.

Shark describes the Freestyle Max as designed to reduce clogs and blockages with minimal upkeep. For routine care, empty the dust cup as needed and follow the product’s care instructions. The included components are the vacuum and charging dock.

## Everyday use
For a quick pass through a kitchen, hallway, or carpeted living area, the cordless design lets you pick up the vacuum and clean without searching for an outlet. The two brushroll speeds provide a choice for carpets and bare floors, while the headlights bring hidden dust, crumbs, and pet hair into view. Its lightweight, swivel-friendly design also helps with turns around furniture and access to tighter spaces.

Customer feedback often highlights ease of use, light weight, and cleaning on both carpet and tile, including pickup of pet hair and crumbs. Experiences with battery runtime are mixed, and some customers report reliability problems. These are individual buyer experiences rather than a measure of guaranteed performance, the product’s documented strengths are its cordless format, dual brushroll speeds, easy-empty cup, and maneuverability.

## When it makes sense
Choose the Freestyle Max if you want one cordless upright for routine cleaning across carpet and hard floors, with a charging dock to keep it ready between pickups. It suits you if light maneuverability, visible cleaning guidance from LED headlights, and an easy-empty dust cup matter in your day-to-day routine. The two-speed brushroll makes it a practical fit for homes where cleaning needs shift between rugs or carpet and bare flooring.
