## Description

Wear these SHAPELLX shapewear shorts under a fitted dress, workwear, or jeans when you want a smoother foundation and supported shape. The ultra-high waist and targeted compression shape the lower belly and waist. A contoured design adds support to your natural curves without aiming to flatten them.

## Fit and sizing

These shorts are designed for a snug fit, with stretch fabric that moves with your body. Use your waist and hip measurements with the size chart to choose a size. If you fall between sizes, have fuller thighs, or prefer a more relaxed feel, the manufacturer recommends sizing up. The contoured 3D cut and widened lifting bands are designed to support the hips while smoothing the thighs, making the shorts a practical layer beneath dresses, skirts, and pants.

## Why it makes sense

The X-shaped tummy control panel focuses compression from the lower belly to the waist, while four flexible steel bones help the high waistband resist rolling, slipping, and bunching. This structured approach can suit shoppers who want more than a basic smoothing layer: it combines targeted midsection support with a butt-lifting cut. Breathable mesh panels across the thighs and soft, flexible shaping mesh help the shorts move comfortably through a workday, an event, or everyday wear.

The smooth, lightweight construction is intended to sit discreetly under clothing, including fitted outfits. A gusset opening adds a practical detail for wear, while the high-rise cut creates a continuous shaping layer from the hips to the waist. Customer feedback often highlights the comfortable fit, tummy support, and waistband staying in place. Impressions of how seamless the shorts look under clothing are mixed, so outfit and fabric may affect how visible the edges appear.

## Buying verdict

Choose these shorts for a shaping layer that pairs focused lower-belly control with a design intended to lift and support rather than simply compress the entire silhouette. The high waist, flexible side and back boning, and breathable thigh panels make them suited to extended wear under office outfits or special-occasion clothing. For a snug, shaped fit, select by waist and hip measurements, sizing up is the recommended approach if you are between sizes, have fuller thighs, or want more ease.
