## Description

## Highlights

Seasonal decorating can feel like a bigger project than it needs to be. This shamrock pillow cover adds a St. Patrick’s Day accent without replacing your existing pillow insert.

Its short plush polyester fabric gives the cover a soft finish for a sofa or couch. The shamrock design is printed on both sides, so the pattern remains visible when the pillow shifts around.

A hidden zipper keeps the closure discreet, while machine washing is listed as a care option. Keep in mind that the listing does not specify weather resistance, so its indoor/outdoor wording alone doesn’t establish that it can handle prolonged exposure to the elements.

## Size & fit

The cover measures 12 x 20 inches, and the pillow insert is not included. Check the dimensions of an insert you already own before ordering, a cover’s stated size is most useful when it matches the pillow you plan to use. This is a rectangular accent cover, not a complete throw pillow, so factor in the cost and effort of sourcing an insert if you don’t have one.

The size suits a narrow lumbar-style spot on a couch or sofa, where a long pillow can add color without taking up as much space as a square accent cushion. For example, it could sit in front of larger neutral pillows as a seasonal pop of green. If you want a full-size cushion or a pillow ready to place straight out of the package, this cover alone won’t meet that need.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Use the double-sided print to make the shamrock pattern visible from different angles, whether the pillow is propped against the arm of a couch or moved to a chair. The invisible zipper is intended to make inserting and removing the pillow easier without putting a prominent closure on display.

Machine washing is listed as suitable, which may help when the cover needs a refresh after regular use. Follow any care instructions that come with the item, and avoid assuming the vivid print will be unaffected by every wash setting: the product description makes a color-preservation claim but gives no specific washing temperature or drying guidance. For outdoor placement, a sheltered area is a more cautious choice because weather protection details aren’t provided.

## Questions before you buy

**Does this include the pillow insert?** No. The listing specifies that the 12 x 20-inch cover is sold without an insert.

**Is the shamrock pattern on both sides?** Yes. The description says the design is printed on both sides, rather than only on the front.

**Can it be machine washed?** Machine washing is listed as an option. Specific temperature and drying instructions aren’t provided, so check the care label before cleaning.

## When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want a St. Patrick’s Day detail that can be added to a pillow insert you already have, especially for a sofa or couch that needs a small seasonal change rather than a full decor overhaul. The plush polyester, two-sided print, and hidden zipper give it practical everyday features alongside the holiday pattern.

Not the best choice if you need an insert included, want a different shape or size, or need confirmed weather-resistant performance for an exposed outdoor spot. Choose it for a removable decorative cover and treat outdoor use cautiously unless you can verify the care and exposure requirements.
