SEYVUM 20V Cordless String Trimmer, 12-Inch, Auto Feed, Two Batteries

A 12-inch cutting width gives this cordless trimmer a practical reach for routine grass trimming, while its head converts for edging along a driveway or path. The SEYVUM combines trimming and wheeled edging in one tool, with an adjustable cutting head and auxiliary handle for working around tighter areas.

It runs on two 2.0Ah batteries and includes a fast charger and eight replacement spool lines. That setup may appeal if you want one battery-powered tool for lawn-edge touch-ups rather than separate trimmers and edgers, the listed details don’t state runtime, so they don’t establish how much work a charge will cover.

Quick overview

The main appeal is versatility: switch between string trimming and wheel edging as the task changes. A spacer guard is included to help protect plants, landscape features, and lawn ornaments while you work. The cutting head adjusts by 90 degrees, and the auxiliary handle adjusts by 180 degrees, offering more flexibility in how you position the tool.

At 8 pounds, it has a stated weight that helps put its handling in context. The listing also specifies automatic line feed, so the line is fed as needed during use, and includes eight spool lines for replacements. Those details make it relevant for maintaining lawn borders and clearing grass in spots a mower may not reach, though no cutting performance or battery runtime figures are provided.

Customer feedback describes the trimmer as effective and functional, with ease of assembly and handling also noted. One reported use was clearing a path between a driveway and an entrance. These are individual buyer impressions, not a guarantee of results for every yard or grass condition.

Everyday use

For a typical edging job, the wheel-edger configuration can follow a driveway or walkway, then the trimmer mode can handle grass near lawn features. The adjustable head and handle are useful details when changing position around narrow or awkward areas. It suits you if your yard-care routine includes both trimming and edging and you prefer a cordless tool with included spare line.

Compared with buying a dedicated trimmer and a separate edger, this 2-in-1 format brings both functions into one product. A dedicated tool may make more sense for someone who wants equipment focused on just one task, this model is aimed at switching between the two. If you prioritize knowing exactly how long you can work per charge, the listing does not provide a runtime figure, so that detail remains uncertain.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose the trimmer or wheel-edger configuration to match the edge or patch you are working on, and use the spacer guard near plants or landscape features. The adjustable cutting head can help change the working angle, while the auxiliary handle offers another adjustment for hand placement. Automatic line feed is designed to advance line as needed, the included spool lines provide replacements when required.

The two 2.0Ah batteries and fast charger are part of the package, but the available information does not state charging time or whether both batteries can be used consecutively for a particular job. For a small maintenance task, the cordless format avoids managing a power cord around the lawn. For longer sessions, consider the missing runtime information when deciding whether this battery setup fits your routine.

Final verdict

The SEYVUM is worth considering for homeowners who want a single cordless tool for basic trimming and edging, with adjustable positioning, automatic line feed, and spare spool lines included. Its 12-inch cutting width and 8-pound listed weight help define the product, while the two 2.0Ah batteries provide the stated power setup. Not the best choice if you need a clearly specified runtime before planning larger jobs: that information is not included. For everyday edge maintenance and reachable grass patches, its two-function design is the strongest reason to choose it.
