## Description

Choosing pruning shears often comes down to whether you need precise handheld control or a way to reach higher branches. The Seesii PS040Pro combines both in one cordless tool, with a removable-use pole setup, a 1.6-inch cutting capacity, and a rotating head for different branch positions.

Its brushless motor and four adjustable cutting modes make it easier to match the cut setting to the branch. Two 4.0Ah batteries and a fast charger support longer pruning sessions, while the included spare SK5 blade helps keep a replacement on hand.

## Key features

Use the PS040Pro as handheld electric pruning shears or attach the telescopic pole, which adjusts from 4.9 to 9 feet. The head rotates 180 degrees, helping position the blade for vertical, angled, and side branches. That flexibility is useful when shaping shrubs, tending fruit trees, or trimming limbs above comfortable arm height. A 2.2-inch jaw opening accommodates branches up to the stated 1.6-inch cutting capacity.

Four cutting modes correspond to 15, 20, 25, and 40 mm branch sizes, so you can select a setting suited to the task rather than use one opening for every cut. The bypass-style SK5 steel blade is designed for pruning, and a replacement blade is included. The plastic and rubber handle offers a non-slip grip, and the padded shoulder strap can help support the tool while working with the pole.

The set includes the pruning shear, telescopic pole, two 4.0Ah batteries, fast charger, spare SK5 blade, shoulder strap, storage box, glove, instruction manual, and adjustment and sharpening tools. Customers commonly highlight the cutting performance in both handheld and pole configurations, along with the adjustable settings and battery setup. Their comments reflect individual experiences, while the product’s stated cutting capacity and pole range provide concrete points for planning a pruning job.

## Best use cases

For a garden with both low growth and overhead branches, the two configurations let you switch from detailed handheld pruning to extended reach without changing to a different pruning tool. For example, you can shape roses or vines at arm’s length, then extend the pole to reach higher branches on a fruit tree. The rotating head helps direct the blade toward the branch, while the four modes give you a way to adapt the opening to different branch sizes.

If most of your work is close to the ground, handheld-only shears may be the simpler approach. The PS040Pro is more suited to jobs that combine close-up trimming with elevated cuts and benefit from cordless operation.

## Who it’s for

It suits you if your pruning routine includes shrubs, flowers, vines, or tree branches and you want one tool that can shift between handheld and pole use. The dual batteries are useful for having a second battery available during a session, and the included charger supports recharging. Gardeners maintaining fruit trees or working across plants at different heights can make practical use of the adjustable pole and 180-degree head. Its 6.4-pound listed weight is also worth factoring into how you plan to handle and position the tool during extended-reach work.

## Is it worth it?

The main reason to choose the Seesii PS040Pro is its combination of handheld pruning and pole reach, supported by a 1.6-inch cutting capacity, four modes, and a rotating head. It is a practical fit for yard or garden maintenance where branch height and size vary, especially when you want the flexibility to trim nearby plants and reach higher limbs with the same cordless pruning tool.
