## Description

## How to use it

For trimming branches, cutting firewood, or handling small tree-cutting jobs around the yard, the SEESII M8 Plus puts an 8-inch chain in a handheld, battery-powered saw. Its cordless format suits jobs where a compact cutting tool is more practical than a full-size chainsaw, while the 8-inch bar provides more reach for wood than a smaller mini-saw format.

The dual safety lock requires you to activate the lock and trigger together before the saw starts. A splash guard helps deflect wood chips during cutting. Keep the chain clean and lubricated, and clear wood chips from the cover after use. If the chain needs tensioning, loosen the cover nuts, adjust the chain screw, then retighten the nuts securely.

## Why it’s worth it

The M8 Plus combines portability with features aimed at routine cutting tasks. Its 8-inch chain, copper motor, and stated chain speed of 16.8 m/s are designed for cutting wood, while the cordless setup lets you move around a yard without managing a power cord. The product highlights dual 21V, 2.0Ah batteries with overload and temperature protection, giving you a rechargeable setup for outdoor work. An oiler system and a replacement chain are also identified in the product name.

Buyers often appreciate the saw’s ease of handling and cutting performance. Feedback on battery life and chain durability is mixed, so experiences vary. For a buyer choosing between a compact handheld saw and a larger, more involved cutting tool, this format is geared toward smaller, portable jobs rather than making every task a full-size saw project.

## Key features

The 8-inch chain is the defining feature of this version, offering a larger cutting format than a 6-inch mini chainsaw. The product highlights state that it can cut logs up to 7.91 inches in diameter, actual use depends on the wood and cutting conditions. Its 16.8 m/s chain speed and copper motor are specified as part of the cutting system.

Two 21V, 2.0Ah batteries are highlighted, with built-in overload and temperature protection. The dual safety lock adds a deliberate start sequence: both the lock and trigger must be activated. The integrated splash guard helps keep wood chips directed away from the cutting area. Together, these features make the saw suited to controlled yard work such as trimming, pruning, and cutting manageable pieces of wood.

## When it makes sense

Choose the M8 Plus when a cordless handheld chainsaw matches the scale of the work: clearing branches, preparing smaller pieces of firewood, or taking care of occasional cuts around a property. It is a practical alternative to a larger saw when portability and a compact format matter for the task. For ongoing performance, clean chips from the cover after use and clean and lubricate the chain regularly. A solid pick if you want an 8-inch battery-powered saw for portable wood-cutting jobs with a safety lock and included replacement chain.
