SEESII Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer 20-Inch Blade

For shaping a tall hedge or reaching across a wide shrub without moving a ladder along the row, a pole trimmer can be more practical than a standard handheld clipper. The SEESII cordless model pairs a 20-inch dual-action blade with a telescoping pole and an adjustable head, so you can work on hedge tops and sides from the ground. It’s aimed at larger home trimming jobs, with two batteries included. The trade-off is that a long-reach tool still takes effort to control, especially during extended overhead cutting.

Key specifications

The blade is 20 inches long and has a listed cutting capacity of 18mm (0.71 inches). Its dual-action design is intended to make broad, even passes across shrubs and hedges, the motor is rated at 600W, and blade speed reaches up to 2,400 SPM. Those figures describe the tool’s setup, not a guarantee that every branch will cut cleanly, so thicker growth may call for a different tool.

The telescoping pole adjusts from 6 to 8 feet, and the head rotates through 120° to help position the blade for top or side trimming. The pole is made from polygon aluminum alloy. The unit weighs 7.8 lbs, and a shoulder strap is included to help manage the load. Two 4,000mAh batteries and a fast charger come with it, the stated runtime is up to 60 minutes per battery. Actual work time will depend on the job and how the trimmer is used. On the spec sheet, that battery setup suits jobs that are too large for a quick touch-up, but it does not establish a specific total runtime for your yard.

Who it’s for

This setup makes sense for homeowners maintaining taller cedar or arborvitae hedges, broad shrubs, or mixed growth where reaching the top is the awkward part. For example, you can stand at the base of a hedge and angle the head to trim its upper edge, then turn it for the side without repeatedly repositioning a ladder. It makes sense if reach and cordless operation matter more than the compact feel of a handheld trimmer.

The 7.8-pound listed weight and extended pole are worth considering before choosing it for frequent overhead work. A shoulder strap may help distribute some of the load, but it doesn’t make a pole tool effortless to maneuver. It might not be a great match if your yard mainly has low, small shrubs or if you want a light tool for detailed shaping, a basic handheld trimmer is a simpler fit for that kind of maintenance.

What’s included

The package lists the 20-inch trimmer head, telescoping pole with grip, two rechargeable 4,000mAh batteries, fast charger, ergonomic shoulder strap, safety blade cover, and user manual. Assembly is described as tool-free. A safety lock is included to help prevent accidental starts, while the blade cover is for protecting the cutting edge during storage.

Questions before you buy

Can it trim hedge tops from the ground? The pole extends from 6 to 8 feet, and the head adjusts through 120°, giving you options for reaching and angling the blade. The listed reach is not a promise that every hedge height will be accessible from every position.

How thick a branch can it cut? The stated cutting capacity is 18mm (0.71 inches). For branches beyond that capacity, choose a tool designed for thicker cuts rather than forcing the hedge trimmer through them.

Are batteries and a charger included? Yes. The listed package includes two 4,000mAh batteries and a fast charger, though no recharge time is specified.

Should you buy it?

Choose this SEESII if your regular trimming involves tall hedges or wide shrubs and you value an adjustable cutting angle, cordless use, and the included battery pair. It offers a more reach-focused approach than a handheld clipper, but its weight and pole length are less appealing for small, precise jobs. If most of your work is low to the ground—or you need to cut branches thicker than the stated capacity—a more compact or heavier-duty tool is likely a better fit.
