## Description

For automotive and mechanical tasks that require careful removal of O-rings, seals, gaskets, or small components, the SEDY 86808 pick and hook set brings a range of tip styles and lengths to the workbench. Its 14 tools include 8 long picks and 6 mini picks, giving you options for both recessed areas and close-up detail work.

Non-slip handles support controlled handling during precision tasks, while heat-treated alloy steel with a corrosion-resistant finish is designed for repeated workshop use.

## Who it’s for
This set is suited to automotive repair and mechanical maintenance where a hook or pick can help lift, separate, or extract small parts. It also serves workshop tasks such as O-ring removal, gasket service, hose work, wire separation, and machinery maintenance. For electronics repair and general DIY, the mini picks provide smaller tools for detailed work, while the longer picks offer additional reach when a component sits farther into a tight or recessed space.

If you regularly switch between different repair tasks, having several tip styles in one set gives you more ways to approach the part at hand than relying on a single general-purpose pick. The assortment is useful for home mechanics as well as professional workshop users who need both reach and close control.

## Where it shines
The long and mini designs address two common needs during repair: reaching into a confined area and working close to a small component. Use the longer picks for access around recessed seals, hoses, clips, or springs, choose a mini pick for more detailed work on small parts. The multiple tip styles help adapt the tool to the shape and access point of the component being handled.

For example, during an automotive service job involving an O-ring or hose connection, the selection lets you choose a suitable length and tip for the access available, rather than using the same tool for every step. The set is also described for seal extraction, gasket replacement, and separating wires, so it can support a variety of maintenance tasks beyond one specific repair.

## What matters most
The handles are designed with a non-slip grip to support control and accuracy during delicate removal work. That secure hold is useful when positioning a pick around a small seal or component, and the ergonomic design is intended to help reduce hand fatigue during detailed maintenance.

The tools are made from heat-treated alloy steel and have a corrosion-resistant finish. Together with the mix of 8 long and 6 mini picks, those construction details make this a practical set for repeated use across automotive, mechanical, and general workshop jobs. The assortment keeps different lengths and tip styles available in one set, which can make it easier to select a tool that fits the task rather than defaulting to one shape.

Buyers have praised the set’s durability, quality, and functionality. Some specifically describe the tools as holding their shape in use, and others highlight their usefulness for removal tasks. These comments reflect customer impressions, while the documented design features provide the practical basis for choosing the set.

## Should you buy it?
Choose the SEDY 86808 if your repair work calls for a variety of pick and hook shapes, plus both extended reach and compact control. Its 14-piece selection is geared toward O-rings, seals, gaskets, hoses, clips, springs, small components, and other detailed maintenance tasks. For automotive repair, machinery service, or a versatile workshop setup, the combination of long and mini picks with non-slip handles makes it a focused, useful addition to the hand tools you reach for during precision removal.
