## Description

The 72-tooth ratcheting design helps keep wrenching practical in tight spaces, where a socket may not reach. This 24-piece SEDY set combines SAE and metric sizing for a wider range of repair tasks.

Its chrome vanadium steel construction and black finish suit regular workshop and mechanical use. The 12-point box ends are designed for precise fastener engagement, while the open ends add another way to approach a fastener.

For repairs that call for both measurement standards, this set brings them together in one organized kit. It also includes a roll-up pouch with printed size markings for storage and portable use.

The dual-standard size range is useful when working on equipment or household repairs that use different fastener measurements. A mixed SAE and metric set offers more flexibility than a single-standard set, for tasks centered on one measurement system, a dedicated set may be the more focused choice. The ratcheting action is especially practical when access is restricted and repeatedly repositioning a wrench would be inconvenient. For example, during a repair in a crowded engine bay or workshop assembly, the combination ends provide two ways to engage a fastener while the compact ratcheting movement supports work in tighter spaces.

## Practical tips

Choose the wrench size that matches the fastener and seat the box end fully before turning. The 12-point box end is designed to engage the fastener, while the open end can be useful when access from the side is needed. After a job, return each wrench to the pouch position marked with its SAE or metric size. This keeps the set organized for the next repair and makes it easier to select the correct wrench when moving between standards.

Buyers commonly praise the set’s appearance and usefulness, including for spaces where sockets may not reach. Feedback on durability is mixed: some customers describe the tools as durable, while others mention black paint chipping. The stated steel construction and finish make this a practical set for workshop and everyday mechanical tasks, with the feedback offering a realistic view of how buyers have experienced the finish.

## Box contents

The set includes 24 ratcheting combination wrenches and a roll-up fabric pouch. Printed SAE and metric size markings help identify each wrench and keep the set together for storage or transport. It suits a home tool kit, a workshop drawer, or a vehicle tool bag when having both measurement standards available is useful.

## Final verdict

The SEDY 81131 brings a broad SAE and metric selection, a 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism, and organized roll-up storage into one set. It suits DIYers and mechanics who want combination wrenches for varied repair work, particularly when fasteners are difficult to reach or a job calls for switching between measurement standards.
