SAWANS Training Gloves for Bag Work with Gel-and-Foam Padding

For bag sessions and general martial arts practice, these SAWANS gloves combine a padded knuckle area with a stretch-fabric interior. Buyers looking for gear dedicated to one specific combat sport may prefer a more specialized design, these are presented for a range of combat and contact activities.

The large, black pair uses synthetic leather, neoprene, and spandex. A hook-and-loop wrist closure and gel padding are among the details that shape how they fit and feel during training.

Product specs

• Brand: SAWANS
• Model: Training Gloves
• Size: Large
• Color: Black
• Materials: Faux leather, neoprene, and spandex
• Closure: Hook and loop
• Age range: Adult
• Package quantity: 2 gloves

The product description specifies stretchable, sweat-wicking spandex inside, with gel pads intended to support grip. The knuckle and front areas are described as padded with rubber gel and foam. A neoprene wrist wrap closes with Velcro, so the fit can be secured around the wrist rather than relying on an open cuff alone. These details are useful when comparing bag-training mitts with simpler gloves that do not list a wrist wrap or layered padding.

Everyday use

The gloves are positioned for punching-bag practice and a broad mix of martial arts and body-contact training. For a planned session, the hook-and-loop wrap offers a straightforward way to fasten each glove, while the stretch material is intended to sit against the hand. The listed size is Large, so that is the main sizing reference available here, no hand measurements or sizing chart are provided in the product details.

Buyer feedback is generally favorable about fit, bag work, and hand protection, with some customers describing the gloves as comfortable when making a fist. Experiences with padding and durability are mixed, however: some buyers find the cushioning adequate and the gloves durable, while others report limited knuckle protection or seams coming apart. That variation is worth weighing if the gloves will see frequent or demanding use. A solid pick if you want a pair marketed for bag practice and multiple martial arts settings. It may not suit you if you need documented sport-specific protection or consistent long-term durability guarantees, neither is established by the available details.

Included in the package

The listing specifies two gloves, sold as a pair. No additional accessories are identified, so the package details support planning for the gloves themselves rather than a larger training kit.

Practical questions

What are the gloves made of? The listed materials are faux leather, neoprene, and spandex, with rubber gel and foam described in the padded front and knuckle areas.

How does the wrist closure work? A neoprene wrap fastens with a hook-and-loop, or Velcro-style, closure.

Should you buy it?

Choose these SAWANS gloves if a large, black pair for bag work and general martial arts training fits your needs, and the listed combination of stretch fabric, wrist wrap, and padded knuckles matches what you want. The buyer feedback suggests a comfortable fit for some users, but also points to differing experiences with cushioning and seam durability. For intensive use where protection requirements or longevity are central, look for clearer sport-specific details before deciding.
