## Description

For a refresh or replacement on a modern-style TL guitar, the Samherome TL PG-Metal adds a blue anodized aluminum pickguard with a defined mounting-hole layout.

Its fit is specified for USA/Mexican Standard TL modern-style guitars. The eight mounting-screw holes and two neck-pickup screw holes make the layout easy to compare with the pickguard already on your guitar.

The aluminum alloy construction and anodized finish bring a distinct metal look to the instrument while offering good wear resistance. Check your guitar’s dimensions and hole alignment before ordering, especially if it is a different TL style.

## Size & fit

This pickguard is intended for the USA/Mexican Standard TL modern-style guitar part. It is a more targeted replacement choice than a pickguard selected without regard to layout: the mounting holes need to line up with the guitar. Other TL types may require modification for alignment, so compare dimensions and screw positions before purchase. This step helps you choose a guard suited to the instrument’s existing configuration.

## Benefits

The blue anodized finish gives the guitar a visible color change while retaining the familiar function of a pickguard. Its aluminum alloy construction is specified as wear-resistant, making the material a practical choice for a part that sits on the guitar’s body. The eight mounting holes provide the stated attachment layout, and the two additional screw holes are for the neck pickup.

Replacing a pickguard can be a focused way to change the instrument’s appearance without selecting a different guitar. Is a metal finish the look you want for your TL? The blue surface and anodized aluminum construction set this option apart from a standard plastic-style replacement, while the stated fit keeps the choice centered on modern TL layouts.

## What to clarify

How many screw holes does the pickguard have? It has eight mounting-screw holes and two screw holes for the neck pickup.

Are pickguard screws included? Yes. The package includes one pickguard and pickguard screws. Remove the protective film before use.

## Final verdict

The Samherome TL PG-Metal is a practical choice for a player who wants a blue anodized aluminum replacement with a clearly stated eight-hole mounting layout. Its strongest fit is a USA/Mexican Standard TL modern-style guitar, where matching the existing dimensions and screw positions can help keep the replacement aligned with the instrument.
