## Description

## Highlights

Some weather stations are built for a quick glance at the temperature. The Sainlogic 443FT adds rainfall tracking, app access, and stored weather history for people who want a fuller picture around the house.

It measures indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, and its rain gauge records precipitation. The listed sensor precision is ±0.2°C for temperature and ±1.8% RH for humidity. Those figures may appeal if you’re monitoring a greenhouse, plant nursery, or wine cellar, though the product details don’t provide independent test results.

The system connects over 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, with Bluetooth pairing for setup. It also offers app alerts, weather trends, and a 12-phase moon display. A solid pick if you want readings and historical records in one setup rather than relying on a basic indoor thermometer.

## How it fits

This station is aimed at home users who want to compare conditions inside and outside, keep an eye on rain, and check trends without standing beside the display. For example, you could look at the app before watering the garden, then check the rain log later to see what fell while you were away. The history may also help when planning yard work or tracking conditions in a greenhouse.

Its wireless sensor has a stated range of up to 443 feet in open air, giving you flexibility to place it away from the main unit. Walls and other obstacles aren’t covered by that open-air figure, so the actual signal path at your property may differ. Compared with a simpler thermometer or standalone rain gauge, this setup brings several readings and records together, someone who only needs an occasional temperature check may not use all of those features.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Place the outdoor sensor where it can collect the conditions you want to monitor, and use the built-in bubble level when mounting the rain gauge. Keeping it level matters because the station’s rainfall readings depend on correct positioning. The app archives hourly, daily, monthly, and annual rain records, while the system stores up to 24 months of weather data locally.

Keep in mind that each Excel export covers up to 30 days, even though the storage cycle holds two years of records. If you’re saving data for a longer comparison, plan to export it in separate date ranges. The station can reset maximum and minimum records automatically or let you clear them manually, which is useful if you want to start a fresh tracking period.

## Questions before you buy

**Can it connect to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network?**
The listing says it supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, with Bluetooth pairing also available for setup.

**How much weather history can it store?**
It stores up to 24 months of records. Each Excel export is limited to 30 days of data.

**Does it measure rainfall as well as temperature and humidity?**
Yes. The product includes a rain gauge, and the app keeps rainfall logs across hourly, daily, monthly, and annual views.

## Final verdict

The Sainlogic 443FT makes sense if you’ll use more than a live temperature reading: rain logs, indoor/outdoor conditions, app alerts, and longer-term records are the draw. It’s a more involved choice than a basic thermometer, but that extra coverage only helps if you’ll check the app or use the data. Not the best choice if you want a simple, occasional reading and have no use for rainfall tracking or saved history.
