## Description

The 2-pack format gives each dog a rechargeable GPS collar with its own independently managed boundary. Set up a circular zone or a custom-shaped one for each dog, depending on the outdoor space and routine.

Choose a circular boundary with an adjustable 65–9,840 ft radius, or create a 3–6-sided custom boundary for rectangular, L-shaped, and other irregular areas. The collars use GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo positioning for outdoor use where satellite reception is clear.

For two dogs with different routines, you can configure the collars separately. If both dogs share the same activity area, each collar can still have its own settings and saved fence.

## Who it’s for

This system is designed for households with two dogs weighing 15–120 lb. The adjustable collars fit necks from 12–28 in, and each dog can have a different boundary shape or radius. That makes it useful when one dog needs a circular area and the other needs a zone shaped around the layout of the property.

Use it in suitable open outdoor spaces such as a backyard, farm, campsite, or other location with clear satellite reception. Each collar operates as a standalone GPS fence, so you can set up a boundary directly from its built-in controls without a phone app, Wi-Fi, cellular service, base station, or buried wire. It’s a practical approach for people who want portable outdoor boundaries rather than a fixed, wire-based installation.

## Pros

Each collar has independent controls, so you can tailor the audible beep, vibration, and static settings for each dog. Beep can be switched on or off, vibration adjusts from 0–6, and static adjusts from 0–10, either mode can also be used on its own or combined. When all three are enabled, feedback progresses from beep to vibration and then static. Built-in safety pauses limit continuous static correction, with a maximum of three static cycles after a boundary exit. Feedback stops and resets when the dog returns inside the boundary.

Fence Memory saves each collar’s settings separately. With the feature enabled, a collar can restore its last saved boundary when powered on again at the same location, avoiding the need to recreate that fence each time. The rechargeable collars are rated IPX7 for wet outdoor conditions such as rain, wet grass, and mud, and provide up to 48 hours of runtime per charge.

## Questions before you buy

**Can each dog have a different boundary?** Yes. Set each collar independently, including its boundary type and radius. One can use a circular zone while the other uses a custom shape.

**Does the system require a subscription or phone app?** No. Each collar is a standalone GPS fence with built-in controls, and operation does not require a subscription, app, Wi-Fi, cellular service, base station, or buried wire.

**How do the collars handle wet outdoor conditions?** Both collars have an IPX7 waterproof rating and are rechargeable, making them suited to outdoor use in rain, wet grass, and mud.

## Final verdict

For a two-dog household that needs flexible outdoor zones, the Safehalo SXdf-001 combines separate collar settings, circular or custom boundaries, and portable GPS operation in one 2-pack. It’s especially suited to open outdoor spaces where each dog may need its own activity area and satellite reception is clear.
