Product description
Mount an automotive trim piece, LED strip, or small sign with a clean surface finish using double-sided foam tape instead of drilling holes. The black acrylic foam layer creates a low-profile bond for projects where visible screws or rivets would interrupt the look.
This tape is designed for indoor and outdoor use on materials such as metal, glass, tile, plastic, and hardwood. Its water- and weather-resistant bond makes it useful for RV and automotive projects as well as home installations.

If your project calls for a neat, permanent attachment, adhesive tape offers a different approach from mechanical fasteners. The two-sided, self-adhering format is ready to place between compatible surfaces, while the thin foam construction keeps the fastening discreet.

The acrylic adhesive is intended to bond to a range of surface types, including both high- and low-surface-energy materials. That versatility supports projects from attaching trim and nameplates to mounting LED strips, mirrors, frames, mailboxes, and signage. It can also be used for RV solar panel mounting and other automotive or craft applications. For a smooth, unobtrusive finish, the tape sits between the joined surfaces rather than leaving a screw head or rivet visible.

The surface matters: this tape is not recommended for heavily textured surfaces or painted drywall, where removal may lift paint. Buyers describe the tape’s adhesion differently, some praise its strong stick, while others note that it can be difficult to remove after it has set. That makes it well suited to planned installations where a lasting bond is the goal.
Usage tips

Start with clean surfaces. The application guidance recommends cleaning with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water, then applying the tape when the surface temperature is between 70°F and 100°F. Avoid application below 50°F. Press firmly across the tape, or use a J-roller at 15 psi or more, to support contact with the surface.
The bond forms on contact, but its strength builds over time. At room temperature, it reaches about half of its ultimate strength after 20 minutes, about 90% after 24 hours, and full strength after 72 hours. Plan the installation so the joined parts are not subjected to heavy loads before the bond has had time to develop. If the liner is difficult to lift, cutting a small corner can help start the peel.

In the box
The pack contains two rolls of double-sided tape. Use the rolls for separate mounting tasks or to cover the attachment area needed for a larger project, keeping the tape between the surfaces being joined.

Questions before you buy
What surfaces can this tape bond to? It is recommended for aluminum, steel, glass, marble, tile, powder-coated paint, composites, plastics, and hardwood. Smooth, clean contact surfaces help the adhesive make contact, heavily textured surfaces and painted drywall are not recommended.
Can it be used outdoors? Yes. The tape is described as water- and weather-resistant and is intended for indoor and outdoor applications, including RV and automotive projects. Its acrylic foam also creates a seal against water and moisture.
How long should I wait before loading the bond? It bonds on contact, but develops strength over time. At room temperature, the stated cure progression is about 50% at 20 minutes, 90% at 24 hours, and full strength at 72 hours. Allow the bond to develop before applying heavy loads.
Should you buy it?
Choose this two-roll foam tape when a project calls for a discreet, two-sided attachment on a compatible surface and you want to avoid drilling or visible hardware. Its slim black acrylic foam format, broad range of recommended materials, and resistance to outdoor conditions make it a practical fit for trim, LED strips, signs, and other RV, automotive, or household mounting tasks.
