## Description

Made from ABS plastic, the blue Ruko 6088 brings programmable play, movement, and expressive LED features into a robot designed for children ages 3–6. Kids can control it with the remote, through the app, with gravity-sensitive control, or by using infrared gestures, giving them different ways to direct its turns and slides.

It also sings, dances, walks, and slides, with nine facial expressions to add character to play. Could a toy that responds to gestures and lets kids build their own sequences make everyday play more interactive?

## Practical tips

Use the robot for tabletop play, dance routines, and simple hands-on programming. The remote offers a 50-function program button, while the app lets children arrange up to 200 icons using expressions, music, ABCs, and actions. That gives young players a way to experiment with sequences, rather than only sending one command at a time. A one-key MEMO feature plays a complete dance routine with music, and the remote can adjust the volume.

The Romo app adds popular-science content about Earth and space, along with interactive quizzes of 10 questions. This creates another activity when children want to shift from movement to exploration. The robot is rechargeable through its USB interface, the stated play time is up to 120 minutes after a two-hour charge. Its rechargeable battery and the included charging cable support returning to play without replacing disposable batteries.

## Benefits

Four control methods give children a choice between direct remote commands, app-based play, gravity-sensitive control, and gesture sensing. That variety is useful for shared play: one child can explore the app’s programming tools while another directs the robot, or children can take turns making it move and dance. Compared with a robot built around remote-only commands, the 6088 adds gesture interaction and editable app sequences for a more hands-on play style.

The nine expressions, nine music selections, nine ABC options, and 10 actions offer several ingredients for creating routines. Flexible joints support its movements, while songs and dancing make the robot engaging even when a child isn’t programming it. Buyers often describe the toy as engaging and easy to use, and call out the dancing and programming as appealing features. Feedback on functionality is mixed, however, and some buyers report that it can tip over, a stable tabletop is a practical setting for play.

## Key takeaways

This is an interactive robot for ages 3–6, with a blue ABS body, LED expressions, remote and app control, gesture response, music, movement, and editable programming. Its learning-oriented app content adds quizzes about science topics, while the remote’s program function and the app’s icon-based tools make creative play part of the experience. The package includes the robot, remote control, charging cable, and manual.

For a play session, a child might start a dance with the MEMO button, try a gesture command, then use the app to arrange a different sequence. That mix of simple controls and customization gives the robot both ready-to-use entertainment and room for children to experiment.

## Is it worth it?

For families looking for a robot toy that combines dancing and singing with several ways to control and program it, the Ruko 6088 offers more variety than a basic action figure or a remote-only play pattern. Its app-based quizzes also bring a learning activity into the same toy, and the rechargeable design supports repeat sessions. It’s a fitting choice for ages 3–6 when the goal is interactive tabletop play with movement, music, and creative control.
