Rubies Zombie Football Player Costume, Boys’ Medium

Getting the most from it

When a regular outfit won’t create the spooky, all-in-one look a kid wants for Halloween, this Rubies zombie football player costume brings the main pieces together: a shredded jersey overshirt, a zombie-guts undershirt, football pants, and a bloodstained helmet headpiece. The layered football details make the character recognizable, while the torn and stained styling gives it a zombie twist for parties or cosplay events.

Picture the costume at a Halloween party: the jersey goes over the guts-print shirt, with the pants and helmet completing the football-player look. Socks and zombie makeup are not included, so those are separate decisions if you want to add them.

Why it’s worth it

The appeal is having several parts of the character in one costume rather than building the look piece by piece from everyday clothes and separate accessories. That can make getting ready simpler when the goal is a clear, themed outfit. The contrast is practical: if you prioritize a coordinated zombie-football look, this set covers the central clothing and headpiece, if you prefer a basic outfit you can reuse beyond a costume event, separate clothes may be a better route.

The included pieces also leave room to decide how much extra styling to add. The listed costume creates the football-and-zombie concept on its own, while makeup and socks remain optional add-ons rather than included parts. That distinction matters if you’re expecting a complete head-to-toe set straight out of the package.

Worth noting

The stated size is boys’ medium (7/8), and the listing notes that costumes run smaller than regular apparel. Use the provided size chart when choosing, without that measurement, the age-style size alone may not tell you how the fit will feel. The product details don’t provide garment measurements here, so avoid treating the size label as a substitute for checking the chart.

Also keep expectations focused on the costume pieces listed: the helmet headpiece is included, but zombie makeup and socks are not. If those details are important to the finished look, plan for them separately. It’s a great fit if the child wants a recognizable football-player character with a horror-themed finish, It’s not for you if you need the costume to include makeup or every accessory needed to style the look.

When it makes sense

This costume makes sense for Halloween, a themed party, or a cosplay event where a zombie football player is the intended character. It offers a more developed starting point than a plain football outfit, but it isn’t presented as an everyday clothing set or as a costume with all finishing accessories included. Check the size chart first, then decide whether the four listed pieces match the look and level of preparation you want. If they do, the outfit provides the core character, if sizing remains uncertain or you want makeup and socks included, this set may not meet that expectation on its own.
