Rubies Girl's Supergirl TV Show Costume, Large 12–14, Removable Cape
Product description
Worth noting
Girls' size Large (12–14) gives this officially licensed Supergirl TV show costume a clear fit reference. The blue long-sleeve dress features the bold “S” symbol and an attached red skirt, with a gold belt and removable red cape to complete the character-inspired look. Thumb holes at the sleeves and a hook-and-loop closure make it easier to put on and take off.
If the goal is a recognizable Supergirl look for a themed event, the cape and belt offer more character detail than a simple color-themed outfit.
Buyers often praise the costume’s appearance and fabric, while fit and construction feedback is mixed. Some report a good fit and well-made feel, others mention sizing concerns or a sleeve-sewing issue. Durability feedback also varies, so it’s best suited to costume occasions and imaginative play rather than treated as everyday apparel.
Who it’s for
This costume is made for girls who want to dress as Supergirl for Halloween, trick-or-treating, themed parties, or cosplay events. The TV-series styling, including the “S” symbol and removable cape, helps create a recognizable character outfit for a costume party or superhero-themed celebration. The cape can be detached when a simpler version of the look suits the activity.
Tips for day-to-day use
Choose the size using the costume size chart: the listed size is Large (12–14), and costumes run smaller than regular apparel. The dress also runs short, so keep its length in mind when selecting the outfit for an event. For getting dressed, the hook-and-loop closure provides a straightforward way to fasten the dress, while the sleeve thumb holes help keep the sleeves positioned over the hands. Removing the cape changes the look without changing the dress and belt, which can be useful when moving between costume activities.
