Rubies 820238 Supergirl TV Series Adult Costume Dress with Detachable Cape
Product description
For a Halloween party, themed event, or cosplay gathering, this adult Supergirl costume brings the TV series look together in a dress with a detachable cape and matching belt. Thumb holes in the sleeves add a recognizable superhero detail, while a hook-and-loop closure makes the dress easier to put on and take off.
It’s a coordinated costume option for anyone who would rather start with a ready-made Supergirl outfit than assemble the look from separate pieces.
On-body feel
The long-sleeve dress has thumb holes that help carry the superhero styling through the sleeves, and the detachable cape lets you wear the outfit with or without that finishing layer. A hook-and-loop closure supports straightforward dressing for parties and events. The dress is described as running short, so that detail is useful when planning how you want the costume to look and what you’ll wear with it.
The listed size is women’s Medium (10–14). Costume sizing is described as running smaller than regular apparel, so use the stated costume size range rather than assuming your usual clothing size will translate directly. Customer feedback on fit is mixed: some find the sizing true to size, while others say the dress feels roomy in places or the skirt is shorter than expected. Buyers also describe the costume as comfortable, with some appreciating the fabric’s feel. Experiences with the belt staying in place vary, so its position may need attention while wearing the outfit.
Strengths
The licensed DC Supergirl TV Series design gives the costume a clear character identity, while the dress, belt, and removable cape provide coordinated elements in one outfit. That makes it a practical starting point for a themed party or cosplay event, without having to source those main costume pieces separately. Boots are not included, so footwear can be chosen to suit your planned outfit.
Want the classic cape-and-dress look without building the costume piece by piece? The removable cape offers a simple way to change the silhouette, and the sleeve thumb holes add a distinctive detail that helps the character styling feel complete. For a Halloween gathering, the dress can serve as the central part of the outfit, for cosplay, the included belt and cape bring the main visual elements together.
