The Royal Angels RA1 uses interchangeable filing pads, with a labeled case to help identify each one, plus a front LED light and a touch-and-stop feature designed to pause with skin contact or excess pressure. It runs on two AA batteries, which are not included, so it does not need charging but will need batteries on hand. Its stated use is adult-operated care for newborns and toddlers. ## What to know This 21-in-1 kit includes six standard pads—four for babies and two for adults—along with 12 extra replacement tools. The case labels the pads by age and function, which can make it easier to select the intended attachment instead of sorting through unmarked pieces. The pads also make this a different approach from trimming with a traditional clipper: it files nails rather than cutting them. A single button controls speed and rotation, including clockwise and reverse directions. The product description also lists a quiet motor and a soft front LED light, features intended to help with visibility and use while a baby is asleep. The Touch-and-Stop function is described as pausing when it contacts skin or encounters excess pressure, it is still intended for use by an adult, not as a reason to leave a baby unattended during grooming. ## Size & fit The trimmer measures 5.12 x 1.77 x 1.02 inches and weighs 0.35 ounces. Its case is described as compact and designed to keep the pads together for storage or travel. The age guidance starts at 0 months, and the set includes separate baby and adult pads, so the attachments can serve family grooming needs rather than being limited to one age group. The battery requirement is a practical detail to account for: two AA batteries are needed and are not included. This setup avoids waiting for a recharge, but it is not ready to use straight out of the box unless you already have compatible batteries. ## Everyday use For a routine such as smoothing a newborn’s nails after a bath or before bedtime, the light can help illuminate the nail, while the labeled pads make it easier to choose an attachment. The adjustable speed and direction provide control over how the file is used. Compared with a basic manual clipper, this kit offers a powered filing method and several pad options, someone who prefers a simple cutting tool may not need those extras. Buyers often describe the trimmer as easy to handle and gentle for baby nail care, especially with newborns. Durability feedback is mixed: some say theirs continued working, while others report that it stopped working after only a few uses or months. That variation is worth weighing alongside the listed 18-month warranty. ## Practical questions Does it include batteries? No. It requires two AA batteries, which are not included. Can it be used for newborns? The stated age recommendation begins at 0 months. The product is described for adult-operated use, with baby pads included. What comes in the set? It includes six standard pads—four baby and two adult pads—plus 12 extra replacement tools and a labeled case. ## When it makes sense It suits you if you want an electric filing option with age-labeled attachments, a light, adjustable speed and direction, and a case for keeping the pieces together. It’s not for you if you specifically want a manual clipper or need a kit that includes batteries. The central choice is whether the powered file and range of pads are useful for your routine, the available buyer feedback is encouraging about ease of use, but reports of inconsistent durability make the listed warranty relevant to the decision. ## Images ![Royal Angels RA1 Baby Nail Trimmer with Labeled Case, 12 Replacement Pads, Pink — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/j8AujmmvPwPnyvu6CGTk1aiTvUE46D-3GrghAT0laxlsRbhIvJ2ZNuNB00yl_a29XrlGxPZE3Ge5L0gf886dJD0y2eSzaLdY2tqRvJKE1gLQzzSdeKtHc4DxRQ.jpg) ![Royal Angels RA1 Baby Nail Trimmer with Labeled Case, 12 Replacement Pads, Pink — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/UhT2LRVaII05NV67a3pADOJh-hvyt2K6Lyg5CjGQ7WMjFz0icJvwSfl_7vVScmVA5RjLkbmplJHX8dIOEmFiI_W0EaTUVDd5rTaYKctrGSnsI3HBYXuB_5vXrA.jpg) ![Royal Angels RA1 Baby Nail Trimmer with Labeled Case, 12 Replacement Pads, Pink — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/C86jXrDlChtRer_rnwVGeOz7drVgRgWPURZzqFU3854GWFHhnyMcvrHP1OvTI_IWH3BNbU25ky9wvqdnNQZ_5ebs6jUDjHAz6lj8mZk9kaOSJ0Ftcz4RJ60b1w.jpg) ![Royal Angels RA1 Baby Nail Trimmer with Labeled Case, 12 Replacement Pads, Pink — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/OjVSOo8qOune9t89DMLuYBB1-rzsT1v1FOGRF0GuubASOyvWwVmU6I3JHwbpU78peAFPT3NKxC-op_RCv2rj2MOGlyNDyKUPtSj9hltLvJ-0kYyWv9osgxE4vw.jpg) ![Royal Angels RA1 Baby Nail Trimmer with Labeled Case, 12 Replacement Pads, Pink — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/a5pPb0x3V1yjIPlZH_qVmzaI3Snm6fI1CEDsRiPGt6fv7eaIXE31V0LBh2CO1Rq6qdIbJ6EoHKZWaLwh03jrfs2RD1hTPRHpNFely9t0VT0ZzDfpqBIQEIPEag.jpg)
