Rosoenvi MD-001 3-Pack Door Stop Alarm, 120 dB Siren, Rubber Wedge

For a hotel room, apartment, or home entry, the Rosoenvi MD-001 adds an alarm function to a practical door wedge. The three-piece set lets you place door stop alarms where an added audible alert is useful, while each unit can also be used as a standard door stopper.

Its compact rubber-and-ABS design combines a mesh rubber base with an adjustable pressure sensor. Choose from high, medium, or low sensitivity to suit the door and setting, and use the alarm switch to select alarm or stopper mode.

Practical tips

Position the wedge beneath an inward-pull door with a gap of 0.6 to 1.2 inches. The mesh rubber bottom is designed to help resist sliding as the door presses against the stopper. For alarm operation, the unit uses a 9-volt battery, the battery is not included, so have one available before relying on the alarm. The switch lets you use the device as a door stopper when an audible alert is not needed.

The compact format is easy to pack for trips and convenient to keep near an entry at home. With three units in the pack, you can place them in more than one room or keep one ready for travel. Set the sensitivity according to the situation, then position the wedge at the door you want to secure.

Strengths

The main advantage over a plain door wedge is the combination of two functions: it helps hold a door in place and can sound an alarm when pressure is applied. That gives travelers and residents an additional alert at the door without replacing the basic usefulness of a stopper. The 120 dB alarm volume is a notable feature for people who want an audible signal, while the three sensitivity settings offer a way to adjust the pressure response.

Buyer feedback highlights portability and ease of use, with some customers saying the alarms help them feel more secure in hotel rooms. Feedback on the sound and operation is mixed: some describe the alarm as loud, while others report inconsistent volume or unexpected alarms. Some also mention that the wedge can slide rather than stay positioned. These comments make placement and sensitivity selection useful parts of setting it up.

Key features

Each wedge measures 5.8 inches long, 1.5 inches wide, and 1.6 inches thick. Its rubber and ABS construction supports a compact floor-wedge format, and the mesh rubber underside is intended to help keep it in place. The alarm is rated at 120 dB, and its pressure sensitivity can be set to high, medium, or low. A switch changes between alarm and door-stopper use, so the same device can serve different needs at home or while traveling.

When it makes sense

This three-pack suits people who want a portable door wedge with an alarm option for travel, apartments, or home use. It is especially relevant when a simple stopper is not enough and an audible alert is also part of the plan. Compared with choosing a wedge solely for holding a door, the Rosoenvi set adds selectable alarm sensitivity and a 120 dB siren. A solid pick if you want a compact door stop that can also provide an alarm at inward-pull doors with the stated gap.
