RONGFA 71" x 59" Baby Play Mat, 1.3" Memory Foam, Coral Velvet

For tummy time, crawling, and everyday floor play, a soft, padded surface gives babies a more comfortable place to move than a bare hard floor. This light gray play mat measures 71 x 59 inches and has 1.3-inch memory foam padding under a coral velvet surface.

The water-repellent surface and silicone-dot non-slip backing make it practical for a playpen or a dedicated play area in the living room or nursery. It can also suit parents choosing between a simple floor covering and a thicker mat with cushioning for crawling and play.

Who it’s for

This mat is designed for infants and toddlers who spend time playing, resting, or practicing movement on the floor. Its 71 x 59-inch size is intended for playpens with matching dimensions, and it can also create a defined play space outside a playpen. The padded surface adds a soft layer between little ones and the floor during tummy time and crawling.

Shoppers often highlight the mat’s softness, thickness, and comfort, and some say it works well for encouraging crawling. Feedback is mixed on the dimensions, color compared with photos, and how easily it stays clean, so the most useful choice is to consider the listed size and the light gray color alongside the room and playpen setup.

Benefits

The 1.3-inch foam filling provides a cushioned, springy surface for moving and resting. Compared with a thin blanket or floor covering, this mat offers more padding under crawling knees and during floor play. Its coral velvet top is soft to the touch, while the water-repellent finish helps protect the surface from spills and everyday accidents and makes cleanup more straightforward.

The underside uses silicone-dot fabric to help the mat stay in position on surfaces such as wood floors, tile, and carpet. That can be useful when setting up a regular play area where the mat should remain in place as a baby moves around. Its light gray color also gives the play space a neutral look.

What to know

The mat is made from 100% coral velvet and filled with 1.3-inch-thick memory foam. It measures 71 x 59 inches, so compare those dimensions with the intended playpen or floor area before setting it up. The product information describes the materials as non-toxic and odorless and notes USA CPC identification.

For a playpen setup, the stated fit is for a 71 x 59-inch playpen. For open-floor use, place it in the room where tummy time, crawling, or relaxed play usually happens. The water-repellent surface is intended to help with spills, while the silicone-dot backing is designed to reduce slipping across common floor types.
