## Description

For senior dogs that need more confidence on hardwood, these Roilpet socks are designed to add silicone grip beneath and around the paws. The XL set includes four socks, with adjustable straps intended to help keep them in place during everyday movement around the home.

They also offer a fabric barrier for paws and are machine washable. Fit is important here: the listed XL measurements give you a starting point for comparing the socks with your dog’s paws.

## Who it’s for

These socks are aimed at dog owners looking for added traction on slick indoor floors, particularly for older dogs that have trouble moving comfortably on hardwood. The silicone pattern is on both sides, so the grip surface is intended to remain useful even if a sock shifts or twists. The product is also described as helping protect paws from hot or cold surfaces, dirt, and furniture or floor scratches.

The listing names paw licking and chewing reduction as uses, and describes the socks as support during recovery. Those are intended uses, not a guarantee of a particular outcome. For this XL variant, the stated paw width is 3.3 inches and sock length is 7.8 inches, so measure your dog’s paws before choosing a size. The guidance says to choose the larger size when a paw width falls between two sizes.

## Why it makes sense

The main reason to consider this design over a basic fabric dog sock is the silicone grip pattern on both sides, paired with adjustable straps. That combination is meant to address two practical concerns: traction on slippery flooring and keeping the socks secured during use. The stretchy cotton fabric adds flexibility, while the listed materials also include nylon and silicone.

Will the grip and fit work equally well for every dog? Buyer feedback is mixed. Some owners say the socks help their dogs move on slick floors, especially older dogs on hardwood, while others report that the socks do not stay on. Feedback also varies on fit, how easy the socks are to put on, strap usefulness, and durability. That makes careful measuring and checking the fit during use particularly relevant, reports about how long the socks last are not consistent.

Worth considering if your dog needs paw coverage and extra traction indoors, and the XL measurements match. You may want to skip it if your dog’s paws do not fit those measurements or you need a fit and durability outcome you can count on from buyer feedback alone.

## Buying verdict

Roilpet’s XL socks bring together a two-sided silicone grip, adjustable straps, stretchy fabric, and machine-washable care in a four-sock set. They make the most sense for an owner seeking a washable paw covering for indoor traction or protection, with a measured paw size that matches the stated dimensions. They are a more feature-focused choice than a plain fabric sock, but the mixed reports on grip, fit, and wear mean sizing and a supervised first use matter when deciding whether this design suits your dog.
