## Description

When a job calls for roof access but storage space is limited, a ladder that extends and collapses can make both tasks easier to manage. The RIKADE GGT-062 reaches up to 20.3 feet and folds down for compact storage. Detachable top hooks add a way to position it against roof edges, gutters, or wall tops.

## Key specifications
- Type: Telescoping extension ladder
- Material: 6063 aluminum alloy
- Maximum height: 20.3 feet
- Maximum load: 330 lb
- Steps: 12, with 15.7-inch spacing
- Folded dimensions: 19 × 3.7 × 42 inches
- Weight: 35 lb
- Color: Black

Each rung has two independent auto-locking mechanisms. An audible click signals that the locks have engaged, giving you a practical cue to check before climbing. Non-slip feet and angled supports help the ladder sit against the ground, while its detachable hooks can be fitted for jobs that benefit from a top-edge grip. The ladder’s compact folded format makes it easier to store than a full-length extension ladder when closet, vehicle, or under-bed space matters.

## Best use cases
With a maximum reach of 20.3 feet, this ladder is suited to tasks such as roof access, attic and loft work, second-story window cleaning, and reaching shelving. It can also serve as an access ladder for an RV. For a job that needs less height, the sections can be extended only as far as needed rather than opening the ladder to its full height.

The hooks are detachable, so they can be used for positioning against roof edges, gutters, or wall tops, or removed when that setup is not needed. For indoor use, the product information advises turning the hooks toward you. Buyers often highlight the ladder’s portability and convenient storage, feedback on stability is mixed, making correct placement and fully engaged locks important parts of setup.

## Practical tips
Before each use, make sure the locking buttons are fully engaged. Do not climb or stand on the top three rungs, keep your position within the ladder’s usable rungs. Follow the provided operating steps when retracting it, and use the carrying handle and storage straps to manage the collapsed ladder between jobs.

## Practical questions
**How high does the ladder extend?** It reaches a maximum height of 20.3 feet. For a lower task, you can extend only the lower sections needed for your working position.

**How do I check that the rungs are locked?** Each rung has two independent auto-locking mechanisms, and an audible click indicates engagement. Check that the locking buttons are fully engaged before every use.

**When are the detachable hooks useful?** They can grip roof edges, gutters, or wall tops to help position the ladder for access work. For indoor use, turn the hooks toward you, they can also be removed when you do not need them.

## Buying verdict
The GGT-062 brings extended reach, adjustable height, and a compact folded shape together in one aluminum ladder. It’s a practical match for RV access, home maintenance, and job-site tasks where you want a ladder that can be stored and carried between uses without taking up the space of a full-length extension ladder.
