## Description

## Key specifications

The acrylic reel combines a retractable cord with a 25-inch extension, so an attached ID can reach a reader without unclipping it from your clothing. The listing describes the reel as 1.25 inches in diameter and includes a metal alligator clip for attaching it to clothing or a pocket. Its pink, cartoon-style look adds a decorative touch to a work badge rather than keeping the holder plain.

The smooth surface is described as easy to wipe clean, and the lightweight design is intended for repeated scanning or swiping during the workday. One practical limitation: the listing gives no details about the card holder’s dimensions or which badge sizes it fits, so the included clear holder may not suit every ID format.

## Who it’s for

This setup is aimed at people who need to present an ID often and would rather keep it attached while doing so. A nurse moving between rooms, for example, can pull the badge toward a scanner and let the reel retract it afterward instead of unclipping and pocketing it each time. The listing also names teachers, students, office staff, security personnel, and factory workers as possible users.

It suits you if a retractable badge and a playful pink design fit your workplace, and you want a clear horizontal holder included. You may want to skip it if you prefer a plain, understated badge accessory, need a specific card-holder size, or want detailed information about how the clip performs with different fabrics. The alligator clip is described as sturdy, but the listing does not provide a load rating or fabric-specific guidance.

## Included in the package

The package contains one retractable badge holder and one clear ID card holder in a horizontal style. That combination gives you the reel and a holder for an ID in one purchase, rather than requiring you to source those two pieces separately. The listing does not specify extra reels, replacement parts, or additional card holders.

## Before you decide

**How far does the reel extend?** The stated retractable extension is 25 inches. That gives the badge room to reach a reader while the reel remains clipped to clothing or a pocket.

**What kind of clip attaches to clothing?** It uses a metal alligator clip. The product description says it attaches to clothing and pockets, but does not give further detail on grip strength across different materials.

**Does it come with an ID holder?** Yes. The package includes one clear horizontal-style ID card holder, though its dimensions are not provided.

## When it makes sense

Choose this badge reel if keeping an ID attached while scanning is more useful to you than carrying a basic, non-retractable holder, and the included horizontal format works for your card. Its 25-inch extension and alligator clip are the key practical details, the pink cartoon styling is a matter of preference. If your workplace calls for a specific badge size, a different orientation, or a more neutral look, those are reasons to consider another style instead.
