## Description

The dome-style REOLINK Duo 3V PoE combines two lenses in a 16MP security camera, giving you a 180° panoramic field of view for monitoring broad areas with one mounted unit.

Its Ethernet PoE connection carries power and network connectivity through a compatible setup. This makes it a practical choice for a fixed camera location with wired access.

For day-and-night coverage, it pairs infrared night vision with color night vision and adjustable spotlights. Smart detection and two-way audio add useful ways to monitor and respond.

## What you’ll notice day to day

The wide, dual-lens view is designed to cover an open area such as an entrance, driveway, warehouse space, or parking area. Rather than positioning several cameras to cover different directions, you can mount this unit to watch a broader scene from one location. Its 16MP resolution records at up to 20 frames per second, while motion tracking sends a picture that summarizes target movement to the Reolink app or email.

Smart detection can identify people, vehicles, and animals. Customizable detection zones and alarm schedules help tailor alerts to the area and times you want to monitor. The built-in microphone and speaker support two-way talk, and multiple users can access the camera through the app. For night monitoring, choose infrared or color night vision, spotlights can be set to turn on automatically, on a schedule, or manually, with adjustable brightness.

Customer feedback often highlights the broad field of view, sturdy build, and straightforward installation. Views on image quality and connectivity are more mixed: some customers praise the clarity, while others mention glare or difficulty connecting to an NVR. The camera’s fixed positioning is also worth factoring into placement, since it does not support pan, tilt, or zoom.

## What to know

This is a wired Ethernet camera with PoE connectivity, not a Wi-Fi camera. It supports 24/7, scheduled, and motion-triggered recording. Footage can be stored on a microSD card of up to 512GB, a compatible Reolink NVR, or an FTP server. It also supports H.265 video compression. Reolink NVR compatibility depends on the model and firmware, third-party NVRs are not supported. A PoE NVR, switch, or injector and the DC power adapter are sold separately, so plan for a compatible power source and network connection.

The metal dome housing is rated IK10 for impact resistance and IP67 for weather protection, making the camera suitable for indoor or outdoor mounting. Its 180° view is fixed rather than motorized, so choose a position that covers the area you want to monitor. The mount is designed for ceiling installation.

## Getting the most from it

For a front entry or a wide driveway, position the camera to take advantage of the horizontal panoramic view, then set detection zones around the areas that matter. Scheduled alerts can help keep notifications relevant to your monitoring routine. If color night monitoring is useful, configure the spotlights for automatic or scheduled activation, infrared is another available night vision mode.

Before installation, plan the Ethernet cable route and make sure the PoE equipment or DC power option matches your setup. A compatible Reolink NVR can be used for recording, while a supported microSD card or FTP storage offers other recording approaches. The Reolink app provides access to alerts, playback, and two-way talk.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the REOLINK Duo 3V PoE if you want one fixed, wired camera to cover a broad scene, with dual lenses, 16MP video, smart person/vehicle/animal detection, and flexible night vision. Its panoramic view and rugged metal housing suit entrances and outdoor areas where wide coverage and weather protection are priorities. For a useful setup, plan the camera’s mounted direction and compatible PoE or DC power before installation.
