RENPHO Active Thermacool 2 R-WMG13 Massage Gun with Heat and Cold Control
Product description
Some buyers want percussion for targeted muscle care, others also want temperature options in the same device. The RENPHO Active Thermacool 2 R-WMG13 combines both approaches.
Its VA display shows speed levels and battery status, while separate heat and cold settings let you adjust the session to your routine.
The cordless design is suited to home, work, or travel use. Its stated figures describe a compact handheld massager rather than a full-body or professional treatment system.
Key specifications
- Name: RENPHO Active Thermacool 2 R-WMG13

- Battery: 2500mAh lithium-ion, 10-minute auto-off

The temperature controls provide four heat levels up to 113°F and four cold levels down to 46°F. The brushless motor is specified at 3200 RPM, with a 10mm amplitude and up to 45 lbs of stall force. These details help shoppers compare intensity and control options, they do not establish how a particular session will feel.
Everyday use
Heat can be selected for a pre-workout routine, while cold settings are intended for post-activity use. Percussion may also suit focused self-care after activities such as hiking or climbing, or for everyday tension in areas such as the neck and back. The display makes speed and battery information visible while adjusting the device.
Buyers describe it as easy to handle and appreciate the included massage attachments, though the product details here do not specify the attachment count. Some report useful relief for muscle tightness and neck discomfort. Feedback is mixed on battery performance and durability: some buyers are pleased with battery life, while others report charging problems or units that stopped working. Treat those reports as individual experiences, not a guarantee of what will happen with every unit.
Practical tips
Choose a heat or cold level before starting, then use the display to monitor speed and battery status as you adjust. The 10-minute auto-off is a built-in safety feature, so a session may require restarting the device if you want to continue. The stated battery capacity is 2500mAh, but no exact runtime is provided, RENPHO describes it as lasting 25% longer than its previous model.
It makes sense if you want percussion with adjustable heat and cold in one cordless device. You may want to skip it if a published runtime or a specific compatibility claim is essential to your decision, since neither is provided here.
Questions before you buy
Can it provide both heat and cold? Yes. It has four heat levels, reaching up to 113°F, and four cold levels, reaching down to 46°F.
What information appears on the display? The VA display shows speed levels and battery status, and the controls are designed to adjust intensity or temperature.
How long does the battery last? The battery is rated at 2500mAh, but an exact operating time is not stated. The listed 25% improvement is relative to the previous model, not a runtime figure.
Buying verdict
The R-WMG13 is worth considering when temperature control matters alongside percussion and you want both functions in a handheld, cordless format. Its listed performance figures and display make the controls easier to assess before buying, while the absence of a specific runtime leaves battery endurance less clear. The mixed buyer feedback on charging and durability is also worth weighing if long-term reliability is a priority.
