REDRIE HK33 Drone with 4K Camera, 2-Axis Gimbal and GPS Flight Modes

Some flyers prioritize simple controls, while others want camera tools for more varied aerial shots. The REDRIE HK33 brings both together with beginner-friendly flight features and a 4K camera. Its 2-axis gimbal helps reduce shaky footage as you capture outdoor scenes.

Quick overview

The HK33 records 4K video and captures 8 MP stills through a 110° wide-angle lens. A remote-controlled camera angle adjusts up to 90°, so you can change the view without repositioning the drone. GPS features include Follow, Route Planning, Fly Around, and automatic return when the battery is low or the signal is lost. The foldable body and carrying case also make it easier to bring along for travel or outdoor activities.

The package includes three rechargeable batteries, with up to 50–60 minutes of total flight time. That combined runtime gives you more opportunity to capture a sequence of scenes across a flying session. Video transmission reaches up to 300 m, while the signal range reaches up to 500 m. The drone weighs 249 g and connects through Wi-Fi for FPV viewing.

Practical tips

Before flying, get familiar with the controls and choose a clear area where you can keep the drone in view. Start with One Key Start and the basic flight controls, then explore Tap Fly, Circle Fly, and Follow as you gain confidence. Keep an eye on battery and signal conditions, the GPS return feature is designed to bring the drone back automatically if the battery is low or the signal is lost.

The camera files can be saved to a MicroSD card or synced to a mobile device for sharing. Plan your shots around the adjustable camera angle: a wide view suits landscapes and outdoor events, while a changed angle can help frame a closer subject. Buyers highlight the drone’s ease of use and enjoyable flight features, including Circle Fly.

Getting the most from it

For travel scenes, family moments, or outdoor activities, the wide-angle 4K camera gives you room to frame more of the surroundings. The 2-axis gimbal helps reduce camera shake, and the adjustable angle lets you direct the view while flying. For moving subjects, Auto Follow and GPS Follow offer ways to keep the flight focused on the action, Route Planning and Fly Around add options for shaping a shot.

The HK33 suits a different approach from a basic camera-free flyer: its camera, GPS modes, and FPV view make capturing and composing footage central to the experience. The LED light and Circle Fly add further flight options, while foldability helps with packing between locations. Use the three batteries across a session to spend more of the outing flying and filming rather than waiting for a recharge.
