## Description

This lightweight gaming mouse from Redragon is built for fast-paced play and mobile setups, offering tri-mode connectivity and tunable sensitivity to suit different devices and styles. With a slim profile weighing about 54 g and multiple connection options, it aims to combine low weight with flexible use on PC, laptop or Mac.

## Key Points

The M821 supports 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth and wired USB-C connections, so you can switch between low-latency gaming mode and power-saving wireless use. It features several programmable buttons and a high maximum DPI setting for fine cursor control during competitive play. Note that according to the manufacturer the device prioritizes low weight and responsiveness, which may trade off some heavy-duty longevity for portability.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Redragon M821-AIR**
- Weight: 54 g
- Connectivity: 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth, USB-C wired
- Maximum DPI: 128000 DPI (adjustable)
- Buttons: 6 programmable buttons
- Polling rate: 1K polling

## Advantages

The very light 54 g body reduces wrist fatigue and helps with quick flicks and precise aiming. Having tri-mode connectivity adds versatility, allowing the mouse to be used with a gaming PC via 2.4 GHz, a laptop over Bluetooth, or as a wired device during charging or when ultra-low latency is required. Programmable buttons let you assign macros or shortcuts for productivity or in-game actions.

## Usage Recommendations

For competitive gaming, use the 2.4 GHz mode to minimize input lag and set DPI to a level that matches your desktop sensitivity. For travel or multi-device setups, pair via Bluetooth to preserve battery and move between Mac and Windows machines. If you prefer a consistent, wired feel during long sessions, connect with the USB-C cable which also charges the mouse while in use.
