## Description

At 6.1 x 1 x 13.5 inches, the green Rcfunkid SM51S brings a gecko-shaped remote-control toy to indoor play. Its ABS body features LED eyes, flexible legs, and a soft tail.

Switch between Ground Mode and Wall Climbing Mode to send it across the floor or up smooth surfaces. The changing movement gives kids a different way to explore remote-control play.

Choose it for wall-climbing action and 360° spins, a conventional RC toy focused on floor driving makes more sense when climbing isn’t part of the fun.

## What stands out

The SM51S uses suction to crawl on smooth walls, glass, windows, ceilings, and floors. Wall climbing adds a vertical route to play, while Ground Mode keeps the gecko moving across the floor. Rough walls are not suitable for climbing, so smooth surfaces are the practical choice for that mode.

The 2.4GHz remote lets kids steer forward, backward, left, and right, as well as spin 360°. With a stated control range of up to 10 meters (33 ft), it gives children room to guide the gecko around an indoor play area. The LED eyes and gecko styling make its movements easy to follow as it switches between surfaces.

## Key points

A rechargeable battery powers the gecko, and the included Type-C cable connects for charging. A full charge takes about 45 minutes, listed play times are up to 35 minutes in Ground Mode and 10–15 minutes in Wall Climbing Mode. These two modes make it easy to choose between longer floor play and the distinct challenge of climbing.

The package includes the gecko, remote control, Type-C cable, and manual. The remote requires two AAA batteries, sold separately. No assembly is required: charge the gecko, put batteries in the remote, and turn on both units to begin. This straightforward setup is helpful when the toy is being brought out for a quick play session.

## Who it’s for

This gecko suits children who enjoy hands-on, movement-focused play and want more than a vehicle that stays on the floor. It can turn an open indoor space with smooth walls or glass into a route to navigate, and Ground Mode offers a floor-based alternative when climbing isn’t the goal. It’s a great fit if the appeal is steering a recognizable creature through different kinds of movement rather than simply driving a standard RC car.

## Questions before you buy

**What surfaces can the gecko climb?** It is designed to climb smooth walls, glass, and windows, and the product description also lists ceilings and floors. Rough walls are excluded from its climbing use.

**How long does it play after charging?** A full charge takes about 45 minutes. The stated play time is up to 35 minutes in Ground Mode or 10–15 minutes in Wall Climbing Mode.

**What do I need to start playing?** Charge the gecko with the included Type-C cable and insert two AAA batteries into the remote. The toy requires no assembly, and the remote’s batteries are sold separately.

## When it makes sense

Choose the Rcfunkid SM51S when the main draw is a gecko that can move between floor play and smooth-surface climbing. Its rechargeable design, directional remote control, LED eyes, and two play modes give kids several ways to guide the action indoors, making it a distinctive pick for children who enjoy interactive toys with a climbing twist.
