## Description

For listeners who want an album with artwork and lyrics to explore alongside the music, the listed edition offers more than a bare playback format. Its product details describe a clear-vinyl LP with printed inserts.

There is an important format discrepancy: the product byline identifies an Audio CD, while the editorial details describe an LP. Confirm which format is being offered before choosing it, especially if your player supports only one.

The album is listed with a 45-minute runtime. That gives you a useful sense of listening length, but the available details do not specify a track list.

## Key points

The editorial description specifies 150-gram clear vinyl in a clear APET sleeve. It also lists ten two-sided, 12 x 12-inch inserts with artwork and lyrics for each song. That packaging may appeal to listeners who value the visual and printed material as part of owning an album, rather than choosing a release only for playback.

The format conflict matters more than any packaging detail: the listing’s Audio CD byline does not match the LP description. The safest buying decision depends on confirming the actual format and edition. The provided details do not establish whether the inserts or sleeve are included with a CD version.

## Getting the most from it

If the LP description matches the item you’re considering, the clear sleeve and inserts make the physical presentation part of the appeal. The lyrics offer something to follow while listening, while the artwork gives the package a purpose beyond storing a record. Keep expectations tied to the listed contents: the description names the sleeve and inserts, but does not give care instructions or further packaging specifications.

## Everyday use

This release could suit a home listening session where there is time to play an album and look through its printed material. The stated 45-minute runtime helps set expectations for that session. If your main priority is simply accessing the music, a release chosen strictly for playback may be a more direct fit, if the artwork and lyrics matter to you, the described LP presentation adds a reason to consider this edition.

Buyers describe the album as emotionally engaging and speak positively about Ray LaMontagne’s vocals and lyrics. Some also respond to its movement between folk and blues-influenced sounds. Reactions to sound quality are mixed, so the available feedback does not support a firm promise about how it will sound on a particular setup.

## Practical questions

**Is this release a CD or an LP?** The product byline says Audio CD, but the editorial description specifies a clear-vinyl LP. The format is not consistent across the supplied details, so confirm the edition before ordering.

**What printed material is described?** The LP description lists ten two-sided, 12 x 12-inch inserts with artwork and lyrics for each song, plus a clear APET sleeve.

**How long is the album?** The product details list a runtime of 45 minutes. They do not provide a track-by-track breakdown.

## When it makes sense

It’s a great fit if you want the described LP edition for its clear vinyl and substantial set of art-and-lyric inserts, and you can confirm that the offered format matches your player. Better avoided if you need a definitely identified CD or LP and cannot verify which version this listing refers to. The music-related buyer feedback is encouraging on vocals, lyrics, and emotional impact, but the divided comments on sound quality are worth keeping in mind if audio presentation is your deciding factor.
