## Description

## Getting the most from it

When filling an RV tank or watering a garden, seeing how much water has passed through the hose can help you manage each task. The RAINPOINT 018 measures flow and total consumption, with gallon and liter readings for a range of outdoor uses.

Its 180° flip screen changes the display orientation at the press of a button, making the reading easier to view when the meter is mounted in different positions. Brass inlet and outlet fittings with metal threads provide a sturdy connection point for hose-based watering setups.

Use it with an RV fill, garden hose, sprinkler, or hose nozzle. For an accurate flow reading, match the water flow to the A-B direction shown on the flow-rate screen.

## Where it shines

For RV fresh-water filling, the meter tracks the volume going into the tank, so you can keep an eye on usage as you fill. In the garden, flow-rate and total-volume readings help you monitor watering through a hose or sprinkler. The two total counters offer a way to keep separate usage records—for example, for different watering sessions or filling tasks—while the flow-rate and last-reading modes provide additional ways to check water use.

The display flip is useful when the faucet or hose connection leaves the screen facing away from you. The meter supports installation in different orientations, and its quick connector is designed for garden-hose setups. Buyers appreciate the straightforward controls and readable flip screen, and some report using it for RV water management and hose-end sprayers. Feedback on durability and water resistance is mixed, so take care to protect the meter from freezing conditions and prolonged direct sunlight, as the manufacturer advises.

## Questions before you buy

**Can I read the screen if the meter is installed upside down?** The screen flips 180° with a button, so you can adjust its orientation to suit the installation and viewing position.

**Will it measure very low-flow drip irrigation?** Readings may become unstable below 1/3 GPM. The meter is intended for standard garden-hose, RV-filling, and medium-volume irrigation applications.

**How do I keep the flow reading accurate?** Check the A-B flow direction on the flow-rate screen and run water in the direction shown. The meter can be installed in different orientations, but the displayed flow direction still matters for measurement.

## Is it worth it?

The RAINPOINT 018 brings flow-rate and cumulative-use tracking to common hose tasks, with two total counters for keeping separate usage records. Its brass connections and adjustable screen make it a practical fit for RV filling and garden watering when you want to monitor water volume at the point of use.
