rabbitgoo Rainbow Window Privacy Film, 23.6" x 78.5", Static Cling

Where it shines

At 23.6" x 78.5", this vinyl window film brings a decorative stained-glass effect to home windows and doors. Its clear surface has an irregular 3D laser pattern that creates colorful rainbow visuals when sunlight passes through, adding interest without replacing the glass.

The semi-private finish helps obscure views from outside while still letting filtered natural light into the room. It also reduces glare and blocks 96% of UV rays, helping limit direct sun exposure on people and furniture. Want a window covering that adds color without the look of heavy curtains?

The static-cling design offers a non-adhesive way to change the look of a glass surface. Use it in a living room or on a door where you want a decorative detail alongside partial privacy and softer daylight.

Key takeaways

Made from vinyl, the film measures 23.6" x 78.5" and attaches with static cling rather than adhesive. Its transparent appearance is not a solid color: the rainbow effect comes from the patterned design when sunlight hits the installed film. This makes the look depend on natural light, while the clear film keeps the window visually connected to the space.

The film is designed to serve both decorative and practical purposes. It reduces annoying glare, blocks 96% of UV rays, and provides partial privacy by preventing direct views into the room and obscuring outdoor views. The listed privacy protection level is 60%, making it a useful choice for glass where some screening is desired while daylight remains part of the room.

Compared with bulky curtains, this film applies directly to glass and adds a patterned effect without covering the window with fabric. It suits you if you want to dress up a sunny glass panel and soften direct exposure while keeping a bright, filtered-light feel.

Usage tips

For installation, spray ample water on both the window surface and the back of the film before attaching it. This wet application step is part of how the static-cling film is fitted to the glass. Position it on a suitable window or glass door, then enjoy the decorative pattern as sunlight brings out its colorful effect.

Consider the light and sightlines of the intended spot. The rainbow visuals appear when sunlight hits the design, and the film provides partial rather than full privacy. That combination makes it useful for living spaces where you want a decorative glass treatment, filtered natural light, and a degree of screening from outside views.

Questions before you buy

Does the film look colorful before installation? The vinyl is clear rather than inherently colored. Its 3D laser pattern creates rainbow visuals when sunlight hits the installed film.

How is the static-cling film attached? Spray ample water on the window and the back of the film, then apply it to the glass. The film uses static cling and is non-adhesive.

What does it do for privacy and sunlight? It provides partial privacy by obscuring outdoor views and preventing people outside from seeing directly into the room. It also reduces glare and blocks 96% of UV rays while allowing filtered natural light through.

For a window or glass door that needs a more decorative look, rabbitgoo’s clear rainbow film combines a sunlight-activated stained-glass effect with static-cling installation. Its partial privacy, glare reduction, and UV blocking make it a practical fit for bright living spaces where you want patterned glass without turning to bulky curtains.
