## Description

The reflective black-silver finish helps screen your home from outside views during the day while preserving an outward view. It also reduces harsh glare, making bright rooms more comfortable for everyday activities.

This static-cling window film measures 35.4" x 157.4" and is made from vinyl. Its removable, water-applied design gives renters and homeowners a flexible way to update suitable glass without a permanent installation.

With 97% UV blocking and 91% infrared reflection, it adds sun control alongside daytime privacy. The 11% VLT reduces glare while allowing visible light through.

## Specifications

The film’s black-silver surface creates a reflective, mirror-like appearance on the brighter side of the glass. During daylight, that typically means people outside see the reflection, while occupants can look out and natural light can still enter. The one-way effect depends on the difference in lighting: after dark, indoor lights can reverse the privacy effect, so close curtains or blinds for nighttime privacy.

UV blocking helps protect furnishings from fading and aging caused by sunlight. Infrared reflection helps limit heat transfer through the glass, which can be useful on sunny windows when managing indoor comfort. The film is also described as helping rooms retain warmth in winter. Its glare reduction can make spaces such as a living room, bedroom, or home office more comfortable in direct sun.

## Compatibility

Apply the film to clean, flat glass, including suitable windows and glass doors. Suggested locations include living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, front doors, sliding glass doors, enclosed porches, garages, and office spaces. It can suit a temporary privacy update in a rental or a longer-term change at home. Do not apply it to double-pane windows exposed to prolonged sunlight.

Compared with replacing glass or choosing a permanent privacy treatment, the static-cling format offers a removable approach. The film uses water rather than adhesive, allowing repositioning during application and residue-free removal. For large panes, having another person help with fitting can make it easier to align the sheet.

## How to use it

Start with clean, flat glass. Apply plenty of water or soapy water to the window and film, then position the sheet and use a squeegee to smooth it into place. The water helps you adjust the film while fitting it. Work across the glass to press it into position, taking care to align the edges. If you remove it later, the static-cling installation is designed to come away without adhesive residue or window damage.

A practical setting is a bright, street-facing living room window: the reflective exterior helps screen daytime views, while the outward view and incoming natural light remain available. When the room is brighter than outside after sunset, draw curtains or blinds to restore privacy.

## Final verdict

This rabbitgoo film is suited to anyone looking for removable daytime privacy with added sun control, rather than a permanent glass replacement. Its generous roll size, water-applied static cling, UV blocking, and glare reduction make it a practical fit for suitable flat glass at home or in an office. The black-silver mirror finish is especially useful where you want to soften direct sunlight and screen outside views while keeping a daytime view outdoors.
