## Description

The 28.5 x 20.5-inch size gives this rubber stovetop cover a broad surface for compatible smooth electric and glass cooktops. Measure your stove before ordering to help confirm the fit.

Its non-slip backing helps keep the mat in place while protecting the cooktop from dust, scratches, and everyday spills.

When the cooktop is cool and switched off, the cover creates extra surface space. Move it aside when you’re ready to use the stove.

## Spec sheet
- Type: Stovetop protector mat
- Size: 28.5 x 20.5 inches
- Material: Extra-thick rubber
- Compatibility: Smooth electric and glass cooktops

This cover is designed for smooth surfaces, not gas or coil-burner stoves. Use it only over a cool, switched-off cooktop. Its flexible construction makes it easy to move and store when you need the stove, and the surface can be wiped clean after daily use.

## Who it’s for
Choose this mat if you want to keep a smooth electric or glass cooktop covered between cooking sessions. It helps shield the surface from dust, scratches, and everyday spills, while its decorative pattern adds color to a kitchen, apartment, or other compact cooking space. Buyers often praise its appearance, fit, and easy cleaning, feedback on its weight is mixed.

It also works as a countertop mat or dish-drying mat, so it can serve a practical purpose beyond covering the stove. Compared with leaving the cooktop bare, it adds a removable protective layer and a convenient surface when the appliance is not in use. If your stove has gas burners or coil burners, this design is not intended for that surface.

## Getting the most from it
Before ordering, measure the smooth cooktop and compare it with the mat’s 28.5 x 20.5-inch dimensions. Place it on the stove only after the cooktop has cooled and been switched off. For everyday care, wipe the surface clean, when you want to cook, lift the flexible mat away and store it. You can also set it on a countertop or use it as a dish-drying mat when that better suits your kitchen routine.

## Questions before you buy
**Which stoves is this cover designed for?** It is designed for smooth electric and glass cooktops. It is not designed for gas or coil-burner stoves, so measuring your stove helps you assess whether the cover’s dimensions suit your surface.

**Can I leave it on while the stove is on?** No. Put the cover on a cool, switched-off cooktop, and move it before turning the stove on.

**How do I clean or use it elsewhere?** Wipe it clean for daily care. It can also be used on a countertop or as a dish-drying mat.

## Is it worth it?
For a kitchen with a compatible smooth electric or glass cooktop, this cover combines everyday surface protection with a removable extra work area. Its non-slip backing helps it stay positioned, while the flexible rubber design is easy to move when cooking resumes. The decorative pattern brings a little personality to the kitchen, and its alternate countertop or dish-drying use makes it useful beyond stovetop coverage.
