QUMIMA Dog Pooper Scooper, 38-Inch Handle

If your cleanup routine covers a yard, a long-handled tray-and-rake set offers a different kind of convenience than a small hand scoop: it lets you gather waste while standing and can also move leaves or other yard debris. The QUMIMA set pairs a rake with a collection tray and has an extendable handle, so it is designed for regular outdoor cleanup rather than a quick grab-and-go tool. Its detachable sections and storage clip also make it easier to put away between uses. One detail to keep in mind: the listing describes it for small and medium dogs in one place, but also mentions large dogs, so its suitability for larger messes is not clearly established.

How it fits

The long reach is the main practical difference here. Instead of crouching with a short scoop, you can rake waste into the tray from a standing position—a useful setup for a lawn or yard that needs frequent cleanup. The listing says it works on grass, cement, and gravel, and also mentions gathering leaves and yard debris. Those different surfaces can call for different techniques, though: a rake-and-tray set is a more hands-on approach than a bag or disposable liner, and the product details do not explain how the tray performs on every surface.

For example, after a dog has used the lawn, you can guide the waste onto the tray with the rake, then rinse the tools with water once you are done. Would you rather bend down for a compact scoop, or keep more distance from the cleanup? This set is aimed at the second preference. The handle separates into three sections for storage, and a clip keeps the parts together when the tool is not in use.

Pros

• A 38-inch extendable rake offers reach that can reduce bending during yard cleanup.
• The tray-and-rake pairing gives you two coordinated pieces for collecting waste.
• The listing names grass, cement, and gravel, plus leaves and general yard debris, as intended uses.
• The handle comes apart into three sections, with a storage clip and hanging hole for keeping it organized.
• The metal and heavy-duty plastic construction is described as rust-proof and suitable for damp outdoor conditions, the tools can be rinsed with water.

Buying verdict

Worth considering if you clean up in a yard and want a standing-height rake and tray that can also handle some ordinary yard debris. It offers a more organized, reusable setup than relying on a small hand scoop, and the detachable handle helps when storage space is limited. Better avoided if you need a clearly specified solution for large dogs or want details about how securely the tray collects waste on uneven ground, the listing does not resolve those points. Without having tried it, the product information supports the basic use case, but not a firm judgment about performance across every surface or mess size. If the stated tray dimensions suit your routine and you have room to store the assembled parts, its main appeal is less bending during regular outdoor cleanup.
