## Description

This shoulder ice therapy system combines cold therapy and compression to help manage pain and swelling after rotator cuff surgery or other shoulder procedures. It is designed to deliver prolonged cryotherapy with a flexible wrap that contours to the shoulder, making it practical for recovery at home and post-operative care.

## Key Points

The system uses a 6-quart cooling reservoir and a quiet pump to circulate chilled water through an ergonomic shoulder pad that fits around the joint. It includes quick-connect, leak-resistant buckles and an insulated 72-inch tube so you can move or rest without disconnecting the unit. For prolonged cold, the design accepts frozen water bottles instead of loose ice, which helps extend cooling duration, according to the manufacturer. ❄️

The shoulder pad has molded contours and relief areas to distribute cold more evenly across the rotator cuff and deltoid region. Setup is straightforward with recommended fill lines inside the tank that guide the right ice to water ratio. This model is often used overnight for ongoing symptom control after surgery, and it may be recommended by clinicians for post-surgical pain management. 🩺

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Egfvcbo Shoulder Ice Therapy System**
- Capacity: **6-Quart** cooling tank.
- Tube length: **72-inch insulated tube**.
- Features: quiet pump, quick-connect leak-proof buckles.
- Includes: shoulder compression pad and wired controller with timer (10 to 60 minutes or continuous).

## Usage Recommendations

Attach the pad and secure the buckles so the pad sits comfortably over the shoulder contours. Use frozen water bottles as directed to help maintain lower temperatures for longer periods. The wired controller allows timed cycles from 10 to 60 minutes or a continuous mode for extended sessions. Consider that individual tolerance to cold varies, so start with shorter cycles and increase duration gradually. ⚠️

The unit aims to be leak-resistant but follow simple precautions when filling and connecting components to avoid spills. Noise from the pump is low according to the product description but may be noticeable in very quiet environments. Also note that while many users report effective pain relief, cold therapy may not be appropriate for everyone and medical guidance should be followed when used after surgery.
