## Description

The QKP CWPS-12 combines 12 AC outlets with six USB ports, giving a desk or entertainment area one place to power and charge everyday devices. Its three-sided layout makes connections easier to arrange around a crowded setup.

With 1.7 inches between outlets, the strip can accommodate larger adapters without automatically blocking neighboring sockets. The 6-foot cord and 45-degree flat plug also make placement practical behind furniture or close to a wall.

A 2400-joule surge rating and a resettable circuit breaker add protection for connected electronics, while indicator lights show power and protection status.

## Technical overview

This power strip is rated for 125V, 15A, and 1875W maximum. It provides six USB charging ports—three USB-A and three USB-C—alongside its AC outlets, so phones and other USB devices can charge without taking up an AC socket. The USB ports are suited to compatible devices such as smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, cameras, and laptops.

- AC outlets: 12, with six front-facing and six side-facing
- USB ports: 3 USB-A and 3 USB-C
- Surge protection: 2400 joules
- Outlet spacing: 1.7 inches
- Cord and plug: 6-foot cord with a 45-degree flat, Type B, three-prong plug
- Controls and indicators: Master on/off switch, resettable circuit breaker, and power/protection indicator lights
- Enclosure: Polycarbonate

The master switch controls connected devices together, and the resettable breaker cuts power during an overload. The grounded and protected indicator lights make the strip’s operating status easy to see at a glance.

## Who it’s for

The CWPS-12 suits people managing several electronics in one place, such as a home office with a laptop, monitor, lamp, and phone, or a media area with multiple connected devices. Its combination of AC outlets and USB-A and USB-C charging is especially useful when a setup includes both conventional plugs and USB-powered devices. Would wider spacing help with the bulky adapters on your desk? The 1.7-inch gaps are designed to leave more room for larger plugs.

Buyers also highlight the practical port mix, usable outlet layout, and compact form. Some describe the strip as sturdy and useful for powering multiple devices, these impressions reflect customer feedback rather than a performance guarantee.

## Best use cases

Use it to centralize power at a workstation, nightstand, dorm desk, or entertainment stand. For example, a home-office setup can connect AC-powered equipment while using the USB ports for compatible devices, reducing the need to occupy additional AC outlets with USB wall chargers. The six front and six side outlets offer different access directions, helping organize plugs where a straight-row strip would be awkward.

The flat plug is useful when the outlet sits behind a desk, sofa, bed, cabinet, or TV stand. Its angled shape sits close to the wall, and the 6-foot cord gives flexibility for positioning the strip within reach of the devices being powered.

## When it makes sense

Choose this format when you need more than a basic extension strip: it brings together 12 AC outlets, six USB ports, spaced sockets for larger adapters, and surge protection in one unit. A simpler strip may suit a setup with only a few AC plugs, while the CWPS-12 is better matched to a shared charging and power area with a mix of device types. For organizing a multi-device desk or home entertainment setup, its outlet layout and combined USB charging make everyday connections easier to manage.
