## Description

Sized 40x40x15, this PureFit stretch square ottoman cover refreshes a footstool in a solid chocolate color. Its polyester-spandex fabric stretches over the ottoman’s shape for a close-fitting look.

Use it to give a worn footstool a coordinated update or add a layer against everyday wear, pet scratches, and accidental spills. The elastic bottom is designed to help keep the cover in place.

If you’re choosing between replacing an ottoman and updating the one you already own, a slipcover offers a way to change its appearance while keeping the furniture in use. Measure the ottoman before choosing this cover.

## What you’ll notice day to day

The smooth, stretchy fabric follows the contours of a square ottoman, while the chocolate solid pattern works as a simple accent alongside a range of room styles. A fitted cover can also make a storage ottoman or footstool look more coordinated with the rest of the seating area. In a living room, for example, it can refresh a frequently used ottoman and add a protective layer where people rest their feet or set down items.

The elastic bottom and anti-slip design are intended to reduce shifting during everyday use. Buyers often praise the stretch and fit, and some say the cover gives an older ottoman a renewed appearance. Feedback on the fabric itself is mixed, so those impressions are best treated as individual preferences rather than a promise of a particular feel.

## What to know

This cover is made from polyester and spandex and is designed for a range of ottoman sizes. The stated fit range is 35–45 inches long, 31–40 inches wide, and 15–18 inches thick. Measure the length, width, and thickness of your ottoman and compare each measurement with that range before purchasing, a close match helps the stretch fabric sit neatly across the corners.

To put it on, align the cover’s four angles with the ottoman’s corners, then pull the fabric into position. Check that the corners are seated evenly for a tidy fit. Its elastic closure helps hold the lower edge in place, while the stretch makes it easier to cover different shapes within the stated size range.

## Maintenance

The cover is machine washable, making routine care straightforward. Wash it at or below 30°C. Do not bleach or iron. Following these care directions helps keep the cover ready for regular use and future refreshes.

## When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want to protect a footstool you use every day or change the look of an older ottoman without replacing the furniture. The chocolate color offers a defined, understated update, and the stretch construction is useful when you want the cover to follow the ottoman’s form rather than hang loosely like a draped throw. It suits living spaces where an ottoman serves as a footrest, extra surface, or part of a seating arrangement. Match your measurements to the listed range, then use the elastic-bottom design and corner alignment to create a more settled, coordinated finish.
