PULASIDO MKD226A Montessori Farm Train Set with 9 Numbered Barns

Nine numbered barns turn farm-themed play into a hands-on way to practice counting and matching. Children can load and unload the animal figures, sort by color, and build a connected train for imaginative play. The set also supports separate farm scenes, so play can shift between train-building and storytelling. It is designed for ages 12 months to 5 years.

Tips for day-to-day use

Invite children to match each animal with a colored barn, then use the numbers on the train and the dot patterns on the carriage lids for counting practice. Loading and unloading the animals gives little hands a simple, repeatable activity, while sorting and matching add ways to explore color and classification. The farmer figure and animal finger puppets help turn those activities into farm stories and role-play.

For a play session with a clear setup, connect the cars into a rolling train and place the barns and animals nearby. Children can count, sort, and load the pieces, then take the figures into a separate farm scene. This combination is useful for families looking for more than a standalone counting toy: it brings number and color activities together with vehicle play and pretend storytelling.

Benefits

The train’s numbered front and the carriage lids’ dot patterns offer two visual prompts for counting. Colored barns and matching animals make sorting part of the play, rather than a separate task. As children place figures in the cars and take them out again, they can also practice fine motor movements and organize the pieces into groups.

The connected train format gives children a reason to arrange the carriages and move them together, while the separate farm-play option supports open-ended stories. Nine animal finger puppets and a farmer figure add characters for naming animals and inventing scenes. Chunky pieces sized for toddler hands and smooth edges suit hands-on play at home, in daycare, or in preschool.
